Bought a 2009 Honda Civic from these guys and they where great. Jose and Jorge where as transparent as anyone can be. I asked if they can let me go under the car to check for rust and other things and they accommodated me without any hesitation, even provided a flash light. Everything I asked about the car they answered truthfully and never tried to hide anything. I would highly recommend this place if you looking for a used car.

Most useful truck out there

Great Family and work vehicle, Everyday use and great for road trips, we loved this truck for years. and its still going strong... Very sad they stopped production. would by another in a heartbeat.
I've purchased a number of cars from George at East Coast Auto Source over the years. I would recommend the following if you're looking at buying a salvage/repairable vehicle: 1) Choose your Auto Body mechanic FIRST prior to going to purchase a vehicle that is salvage/repairable and pay him for his time even if you DON"T BUY. Paying him $100.00 for his time might save you thousands of dollars in the long run. Take him with you to look at the vehicle you are interest in. A mechanic can identify hidden damage and cost that you as a buyer can not identify. 2) Get an estimate on parts from George (or any other salvage yard) as this is added cost to what you are actually paying for the vehicle. 3) Get a time frame on repairs from your mechanic: example: is his shop out 3 months on repairs? six months on repairs?
4) Add the cost of the vehicle, parts, repairs and time to fix and compare this amount of money and time to the same model vehicle that a dealership or private owner has for sale and analyze if the repair of the salvage vehicle is worth it....sometimes it is: sometimes it's not.
I've never had any trouble getting titles, bill of sale, or vehicles shipped upon purchase, etc from George. As indicated, have some knowledge of salvage repairable vehicles and get estimates up front and your repair experience will be much better.

It was a great truck for a long time

This truck served me well through college and in the beginnings of my career. This truck saw many camp fires, moves, boat hauls and cruises through the mountains. The weight of the frame made it steady on the road; the wide but short cab made the ride smooth and the simplicity of the design made it a strong vehicle but easy to drive. The only, single down-side was the rear-wheel drive in Colorado winters (4X4 would be better). Being a work horse with acceleration and power it was great driving through the mountains on camping trips and on highways but it is not ideal for narrow/downtown city streets. The bench seat is comfortable and classic and the simplicity of the interior is attractive for a tough vehicle like this. An additional great feature is the height of the cab making it easy to get in and out (without running boards) giving the driver an elevated view but not being massively tall and overpowering. The single cab also offers the driver great visibility in blind spots for such a large truck. Maintenance and parts were never outrageously expensive and mechanics find this vehicle easy to work on. I hope this review was helpful. I am a big fan of MY truck and I will be sad to sell it.
Dealt with East Coast for many years. Never had a bad experience . I bought 2 Jeep Cherokees and I enjoy working on them. Parts are also very reasonable.

I have owned mine 13 years and it has almost never needed anything but routine maintenance. It is powerful, fuel-efficient and well built. I have had many guys stop me to ask if I wanted to sell it because the 7.3L Power Max is such a stellar engine.
I see where a lot of people are commenting on the dealership not getting back in touch with you. I have to say that's a completely different experience that I had.
I sent them a message about 3 in the morning. Before 11:00 a.m. that same day they had already reached out with a phone call and an email. The car that I was inquiring about why is that one of the brands largest motor in it so I wasn't interested in buying it after talking to that.
The person I spoke with was very polite understood what I was looking for. He even asked if they come across something like that but with the engine that I want would I like a call back. I told them absolutely who knows it could be a month from now and I still have it found what I'm looking for. I just thought that was pretty nice of them.
Also I don't know anybody at this dealership none of my family or friends work there. I know sometimes people think if you write a nice reply where there is mostly negative that it's the dealership having friends and family post these comments. That absolutely is not me. I just believe if I'm quick enough to leave a negative review I should be just as quick as to leave a positive review.
They are listening I can say is what I believe might be happening is that people might not be leaving their phone number. I honestly don't know if that is it or not.

I bought a bran new metallic lighter green 1992 ford F 150. I never like king beds and this was a king bed but it still was very good looking ford Truck. I loved the dual gas tanks as I lived in St George Utah at the time and did a lot of Traveling back to my family snd friends just North of Sally Lake so those dual tanks ZI coul fuel up and still have plenty of fuel after A 329 mile drive. Also in the winter keep the rear tanks fuel and if I got in a bad snow storm I could go anywhere.
Purchased a 2010 Honda Odyssey Van . Kareem was an excellent businessman . The van is like new and runs super ! My experience at his business was polite , pleasant, and satisfying . Thank you Kareem and continue with the great service .

After several poor experiences at other lots my wife and I called Car Source to inquire about a vehicle.
Bob Bauer answered the call, was very polite, answered our questions and invited us to come in.
We decided to go in and find Bob. He happened to be the gentleman who came outside to greet us in the cold and offered to show us our vehicle of interest.
Bob was not pushy and offered transparent answers to all of our questions.
The rest of the sales and management staff were also exceptionally nice. They got us good financing and the process didn't take terribly long.
Having sold cars for 8 years myself, I feel that our experience at Car Source was overall a excellent one.
Will recommend Bob and Car Source and will shop there again!

Truck needs rear main seal, oil pan seal, oil sending unit, all new gas lines and gas pump and left wheel bearing. Total 3600.00 bucks. It drives very nice with a rebuilt engine and new brake lines. Thing is when it gets this old with 220,000 miles all the seals go bad eventually. 5.3 vortec is amazing. Not sure how reliable the tranny is. Rust is prevalent for it’s in Minnesota Country. But not terrible with no rust trough. I’m getting this truck for free. So putting $$ into it to fix.
Was looking for a gas saver and around $3000. They had several to choose from and I got a car that’s been great for the last year!

I did everything with this vehicle using it for an hvac business and personal use as well. The frame is full sturdy and I overloaded it alot removing old mechanical systems. Filled it with old commercial radiators which fit in well as high as the cab drove it back at 80 mph not one problem the way I like it. The Suspension still was not bottomed out and was robust. This truck came from ohio i got it at 95K
Great experience and an awesome price! This is the second new vehicle that I have purchased from them in 6-7 months. The salesperson is Bill and he was great to deal with and no pressure from him our the sales manager James. Both are an asset to the Dealership.

I had my 96 until I was T-Boned at a stop light while visiting Spokane. The air bags actually deployed in spite of the vehicle being over 24 years old. I was amazed and it probably saved me from broken bones or a skull fracture.
I was sad to see this vehicle go because it was totaled and there is nothing out there that even compares to the great years of service. The model I had included a 3.3L v6 and Posi traction drivetrain with the full towing package. I hauled heavy items across the cascades several times without an issue.
Bought used low mileage years ago, now has 278000 on it. Mostly Hiway miles. Other than the usual parts, it's been very reliable. Hope for 300,000, then think about something else. Always has rode rough unless loaded, and the 2.2 isn't a powerhouse by any means. These little trucks are a little heavy (3200 lbs) so the 4 cylinder isn't really up to the task. That said, these really are trucks and not a toy. Still like mine!
I bought a used totally loaded 2012 Audi A8L from Derek Motorcar Co. Bob is an honest salesman. I talked to Bob over the phone and he described the car to a tee. They were very professional. Bob gave me a great deal which was better than private party deal based on kbb.com. I highly recommend them and I know where I will be looking next time I need a vehicle. It did take a little over a month to get my title but I still had enough time on my temporary tag. Thank you Derek Motorcar Co.! Merry Christmas to myself!

I think it had some problems at the start but we are getting them fixed and I love driving it. Very nice guy selling the truck and very friendly.
This is a great medium size truck. It has great pickup, handling great and good style.Iam somewhat dismayed as to why this vehicle has not been
Remade as I would have a new one today.Mine is the 5 cy. Amazing.
I have a 2005
dakota that I purchased new. I love it. 18 years of owning it. I have had very few issues. I use for hauling and recently I have been using it for highway driving. It just works. It's nothing fancy in fact it's kind of utilitarian. But I does everything I need it to do. I do maintain it well. but I have only had minor issues. The fuel mileage is not great but it's a truck.
Fantastic experience. Luis did a fantastic job showing me the car I was interested In. If your looking for a hassle-free honest locally owned dealership this is for you. I was able to get my new car at a good price and it runs like a dream. My prior car needed some work due to the door being dented In. They offered me a really fair trade-in price. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me and they felt like honest friends to me. I will be continuing to use Jon and son's auto sales for future cars.

Bought 99 xlt 4x4 in 2015. I live in Iowa. I do a lot of hunting and wood hauling. So I use the 4x4 a lot. I pull a 5x8x3 trailer when wood cutting and load the truck and trailer down heavy. She grunts a little but enough power there to get it done. Only been stuck in the snow once due to clearance and have tested it's yanking power pulling bigger vehicles out that were in there pretty good. It's supposed me. I've replaced minimal parts. Gas tank was the biggest chore. Standard rust out. Biggest engine problem to diagnose was the fuel filter. Engine knocks like a diesel engine but has plenty of power and keeps on ticking. Change oil every 5k or close to it. Plenty of cab room and leg room. Maintenance has been minimal I guess. Would buy another if the deal was right. Current mileage 186kish. It's due for some bigger maintenance now. Front end parts kit brakes rotors all around and rear seals. Not bad for a truck that's seen a lot more gravel roads than hiways. Rust is average. Rocker panels and starting on the front of box. It's been a good truck.
Engine: 4.2L V-6 regular unleaded, engine with 202HP

My 2003 Ford f150 XL standard cab, just passed its 100,000 mile mark. Never have I had a vehicle that has
never given me any - I repeat - never, trouble. I've performed the necessary maintenance tasks ; oil, tires radiator flushes, brake and tranny fluid replaces and any other needs that come from wear & tear. I love this truck ! I have replaced my wife' s car three x's. Mine is still road worthy and passes emissions every year !
Whether long distances or around town, my truck has not failed me yet. From one spark plugs to air filters, bulbs and tires I know that I have saved a lot of money
rather than buy another vehicle. They' re ( MFG'S ) not building them like this any more. Kudos Dearborn. Well done UAW l
