McGinty MotorcarsReviews
McGinty Motorcars review
I recently purchased a 1978 Corvette from McGinty Motorcars, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. From the very first conversation to the moment I drove away, their team delivered truly world-class service. What stood out immediately was their deep knowledge and passion for classic cars. They didn’t just “sell” me a Corvette—they walked me through its history, condition, and unique character in a way that showed genuine care and expertise. Every question I had was answered thoroughly and honestly, which gave me total confidence in my purchase. The professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. The car itself was exactly as described—if not better—and clearly had been prepared with pride. The buying process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free, which is rare these days. What really sets McGinty Motorcars apart is how they treat their customers. I never felt like just another transaction; they made the entire experience personal and enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride not only in their vehicles, but in building lasting relationships. If you’re in the market for a classic car and want a truly first-class experience, I cannot recommend McGinty Motorcars highly enough. I absolutely love my 1978 Corvette, and I’m grateful I chose to buy it from a team that cares this much about what they do.

CarMax East Haven review
We were selling a vehicle. Staff contacted us to give us a link to provide all info for the car we wanted to sell. They gave us an excellent price. ( as evidenced. By kelly blue book ) When bringing car to dealership in East Haven - staff had gloves and masks on. They came outside for paperwork. They were organized. Social distancing followed. We are very please with our experience.
2017 Volkswagen Beetle review
This car combines the best of the GTI with the looks of a rally car. Some Bugs are boring, but this one has the Dune trim package - turbo, fin on the back, 18-inch alloy wheels, sun roof, Apple Carplay, keyless entry and start, Fender premium sound package, heated seats, backup camera... Fun to drive, plenty of jump (my old car was a GTI - not quite that much jump, but more than enough to zip you through traffic) and a smooth ride.

CarMax East Haven review
Bought a 2015 Dodge Challenger with 5800 miles - great price compared with what the same car is going for today with 40K / 50K more miles. Process was easy. All my friends love the cards and strangers give me compliments. My only complaint was these cars go through an inspection where all problems are fixed. I bought the car in February and by the Summer when I finally turned on the A/C, it did not work. When I went to the repaair shop I was told it would cost me 41000.00 dollars as the hose was broken dehind the instrument panel. In my opinion this should have been caught by CARMAX and fixed before I picked up the car. Otherwise very happy - no problems other than that to date. CARMAX - please fix my A/C??????
2015 Volkswagen Beetle review
Best vehicle that I have ever owned, great mileage, reliable, has that inimitable distinct VW design, doesn't look like every other car on the road. Considering the VW Bus when it comes out in the fall of 2024!

2016 Volkswagen Beetle review
I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.

The salesman that contacted me was unable to find the car I wanted. I was very specific with what I wanted. He was very helpful in providing tips as to how I might go about finding the car I want.

Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.
