2018 Volkswagen Golf review
I had wanted Golf my whole life and now that I have it-it does not disappoint! It is SO much fun to drive and I have an automatic transmission! For being a smaller vehicle you can stuff a lot of things in it when needed.

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!
2020 Volkswagen Golf review
I've owned Golfs for 7 years and absolutely love them. They are the perfect car. Fun to drive, just enough room for 4 people, great on gas, and with the rear seats folded down, there's an enormous amount of cargo space. The interior feels upscale with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and soft metallic accents, the leatherette seats are easy to clean and feel great (SO much better than fabric!) and the sound system is on point. Also love the heated seats and the sunroof with the option to crack open or fully open!!

2018 Volkswagen Golf R review
I've owned this vehicle 2019-2023 (and counting). I'm 70yrs old and can say this is the best car I've ever owned. Performance, comfort and styling are 5.0. Most in my age group don't understand the Golf R until they get to drive it.

2014 Volkswagen Beetle review
Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.

Group 1 Volkswagen Alamo Heights review
The facility is older and not spotless - it could do with new furniture and a fresh coat of white paint. Doesn't compare with the sparkling, vast multimillion dollar showrooms around town. The product, however, isn't the dealer office - it's the same new vehicle you buy anywhere else. The sales team is stereotypical of the profession - knowledgeable, friendly, but coached to quickly identify and help you overcome any obstacles to making a purchase. As long as you understand the dynamic and come prepared, it's a perfectly normal experience. The reason for the recommendation, and what set this dealer apart, was what matters most to me and I'm sure you as you navigate one of your life's larger purchases - price. I test drove elsewhere, and stopped by in person to get some initial out the door numbers. Here the pressure was highest - numbers about the same as every other dealer about MSRP out the door, implication that those numbers were only possible today. Bring the manager by. What if we can take off a few hundred right now. Playbook, executed predictably but not aggressively. The next week was spent talking to many other dealers in and outside my region. Push them to beat the best offer you have found, until you sense the bottom approaches. It was three days later, but Alamo Heights reached out with a 6k discount (including 1500 VW rebate). It was the lowest out the door price by $1000 at the time, and $600 after two more days. No other dealer wanted to even match. What was the catch? The price was for a car they did not have in stock. They assured me they would find one in a dealer trade, all included in the quoted price. I was hesitant to buy a car sight unseen, and despite Mike as a sales manager assuaging my concerns as best he could, assuring they would make it right if anything was wrong at delivery... there was no language in the paperwork I signed that made it more substantial than being given their word. The car was acquired, and available for pickup, the next business day. No faults in the car, no mileage or paint surprises. They delivered as they said they would, and I am confident that had there been any issues with the vehicle that a repair or replacement would have been made honoring their word. The bottom line here is that this dealer was able to get to a price I couldn't find anywhere else. It took patience, absorbing the sales push, and polite persistence, but what new car deal doesn't? I have read other reviews online that match my experience. It's a process to go through, and there's the usual sales patter and pressure to get through. What makes this dealer worth working with is the number they may not be delivered in the largest showroom, but it may be the smallest number. Thanks to Tim, who is clearly passionate about VW and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks as well to Mike, who may be new to SA but clearly has a lot of experience building confidence in customers faith in his teams ability to deliver as promised. They are outliers in ways that earned my business and appreciation.
2001 Volkswagen New Beetle review
The upholstery started falling down, and the A/C stopped working. I love this car though. GREAT gas mileage!! Love it. Perfect leg room and the back has a ton of room.

2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
Overall, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned. This car hugs the road while providing the opportunity to be a real daily driver. Fast, refined, and full of options which accommodate any driving style. If I have one complaint, it is - yes the same as so many others - the infotainment system. The base model gives you a better feel and option for using actual knobs for some of the specifics, which I find somewhat ironic. If you can manage to get past the infotainment system, you’ll love this car.

I bought a 2002 C 5 Corvette, and it had the slave cylinder manual transmission problem which is endemic to the C 5, unhappy with the Chevy Dealer, I went to Jordan knowing they sold many sports cars. Well, Chris Hayson, the service manager, replaced the main clutch cylinder and then concluded it was the slave. He recommended I got to THE C 5 expert, another repair shop. He arranged for my car to be transported and did not mark up th cost of that transport. The second shop specialized in C5 repair and finally my car was fixed. This would not have happened if Chris had not directed me to OK Lethal Performance, thank you Chris!!!!!!!!

2009 Volkswagen New Beetle review
Dad bought this for me used before I left for college. School is about 7 hours away and bug made it with no problems for years. Great car for a younger teen!! Size is inconvenient but at a younger age it is actually a great excuse to not have to be responsible for driving groups of people! Was very very reliable until transmission went out, after that it was toast. I felt like it never ran correctly, it had ABS problems, wouldn't start properly etc. Overall a great car for someone who doesn't need a great car just yet!

I traded in my Buick Enclave for a VW Beetle over 6 years ago and have loved it nearly every day. The Turbo engine is fantastic. It's been a great little car. The only complaint is that it's not great (at all!) in the snow. Other than that, two thumbs up.
