2011 Volvo S80 review
I bought this car used and was a little nervous about the cost to own factor. But it has been very reliable and affordable. No issues at all so far and I have been driving it for 3 years. It's comfortable and timeless design will make it a car I will keep for years! I may never drive another one!

2011 Volvo S80 review
Just purchased this S80 3.2l and have been driving it for a little under a month, including the 9 hour trip home from the lot I bought it from, which I was Abit nervous about doing in a used car with 177000km. So far I am very impressed. It's no race car, but having a family, I was not looking for one.. it's a 9 year old sedan, but still looks good and performs well. I spent close to a year researching many different makes and models. I wanted luxury and reliability without the costly trips to the mechanic ( German auto makers ) I also wanted something different that had character unlike the Japanese car makers. The S80 checked both boxes. I would have preferred the T6 awd version , but the ones in my price range all had well over 200 000kms. The interior is well layed out and simple to use. The only negative so far is the blind spot monitoring system. It dose not work at all when it rains. 10 - 11 hours of highway travel on 1 tank of gas is always a bonus. If you are worried about cost of ownership, find a good independent Volvo mechanic, and buy any parts online ( not from a dealership )
