This is my fourth Volvo; one XC90 and 3 XC60's. They have all been wonderful cars. Service after the sale is also great. Any question I have had has been answered so that I could understand. My routine maintenance is done in a timely manner and always perfectly.

For my children who are only 9 and 4 years old to say they think moms car is amazing, speaks volumes of Volvo! We are extremely happy with our purchase!
Service department was mediocre at best. Was warned by neighbor who also owns & Volvo 2 Volvos... should have listened. I can alway service when visit family in Charlotte.

This is the second S60 I have owned, previously having had a 2006 S60R. I traded in that vehicle for my current vehicle, an S60 R Design with the Polestar software upgrade. The current iteration of the “R”, although fast, with great brakes, is not a true sports sedan. The previous vehicle accelerated more quickly, tracked truer, and had a suspension more suited to a car billed as a “performance. ” model. Although my newer R-Design is quite fast, and handles quite well, it possesses an inherent “softness” which lowers the fun quotient a bit.

Recent trip to Pa. 3100 miles 119 gals gas,26 mpg highway and 2 lane mountain. This car handled back mountain roads like dream even in downpour. I gave it a 4star on interior design because it could use more leg room in second row seating.
I recently purchased a used car from Robby at West Ridge Auto sales. He was very courteous attentive and gave me information that helped me to help me make a wise choice in making the purchase. Penny helped me with all the paperwork, she explained everything so I knew exactly what I was signing and what seemed like a lot of paperwork took just a short time to fill out. I had to bring my car in for service and Bill was right there to put my mind at ease with explaining what the problem was and the service dept. fixed it without a long wait! I'm happy with my West Ridge experience!

My wife and I was shopping for a family vehicle. We found Jon and a 2005 Lincoln Navigator he had on his lot. Jon was very fair and helpful. He opened his business on a Sunday, a day he's closed and stayed a few hours late on a Tuesday to accommodate us. He was very patient and willingly to work with us with what ever needs we had. This will be a place I will look at first if/when I go to purchase another vehicle.

Best hidden (still I think) secret. Awesome Euro Styling (not overdone, controls in easy places to find), amazing performance (who else builds a 300HP wagon?), tons of well thought out tech included in base level cars (stuff like push button downhill assist you would pay big $$ for in other brands), comfortable (probably the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in) as any luxury car on the market to drive, I think much more reliable than other luxury brands, and to top it off amazing safety (like you did not already know).
Spoke with an employee named Vin. Excellent service and answered all my questions. He was up front with every answer without hesitation. I highly recommend this facility to anyone. Already told a few friends.

My interactions with the hunter Volvo team were all positive. They were super personable, easy to talk to, and the selection of cars on the lot was pretty impressive. I also love that every vehicle on the lot that I was interested in had a Carfax report already with it. Even though my loan application went South and I did not get to buy the car I wanted, I will seriously consider keeping tabs on their used car inventory in the future.

The XC90 is a beautiful and functional SUV. There is plenty of storage space, seating is comfortable, and the large screen is very functional. The cameras are extremely helpful. I am so glad I purchased this car.
I???ve had numerous cars through the years and I have to say my Mazda has been my favorite hands down. The buying experience was mellow with no pressure and I got the car details I wanted. Bill Shea was so helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks for a pain free experience

Great SUV, But there are significant problem areas

I own a lot of Volvo's , but this is my first xc90 (v8 Sport, loaded). Replaced my '10 MB 350 BluTec which blew up. Problem areas (and it can cost a ton of money)- Radiator leaks into trans cooler. Once that happens the tranny is toast. Happened to me within a few weeks of my buying. In the end, it was about a $6k ordeal. Also, the front engine cover idler pulley stud often breaks. Another $1k++ repair. Upper Strut mounts are also a problem. Especially passenger side. Replace only with HD IPD. Fuel economy isn't great, but what can you expect from a v8 SUV weighing nearly 5k lbs.
Despite all the problems (I think some of the problems were anomalies--except radiator, there's a SB on it) it is a very good SUV.
Purchased a car from Hunter Volvo and got home and had to clean my vehicle. There were 2 water bottles underneath the passenger seat, a ziplock bag of candy in between the back seats, a child's toy, and numerous pens and toothpicks. Also trying to resolve a windshield issue with them has proven fruitless and horrible customer service. Don't appreciate the tone I was spoken to over the phone and will now fix this problem on my own. Hope to never have to do business with them again.

This car is above what I thought it would be. The performance is excellent. The S60 has an awesome phone app that allows me to start my car remotely, a map that gives my car location and it reminds me that my doors are unlocked. I love it!😊
When my car was totaled I was so nervous, I was a new young mom and just worried about finding a car that was right for me. My car shopping experience was the best! Joseph was SUPER helpful and always available. He was never pushy and helped me find the perfect car! He even recommend me a better car when it was traded and worked with me in my budget!
