2024 Volvo XC90 review
On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. Highly recommend Bryan Perkins, he went above and beyond to get the SUV I wanted. I had to go back to the dealership today because onstar wasn?t working. We I arrived he came out of his office and let the manager know I was there. He had a new customer in his office and ask if he could step out for a minute to talk to me. Not all salesman do that after they get the sale lol Mason Meade (the manager) went the extra mile for us, I have to take my SUV to Hazard and drop it off to replace the onstar system. He is giving me a courtesy car until I get my SUV back. I?ve never been treated like this by any dealership and I?ve owned several vehicles.. If you are in the market to purchase a vehicle, go to Tim Short Honda, Ivel, Ky. Ask for Bryan Perkins and he will find your dream car/truck/suv they are the Beat around!! 2017 Volvo XC90 review
I loved my XC90 but traded it due to the cost of fuel. I drive 40 miles a day roundtrip to work. I would easily go through a tank of gas in four days. Best mileage I ever got was about 22 highway. The XC90 is a heavy SUV and shaped like a block. Not a lot of aerodynamics. As for comfort and luxury you can't go wrong the XC 90 is pure luxury and has great pickup and handling. Just be aware the mileage is not good.

2018 Volvo S90 review
Before buying used, have an independent mechanic check it over. I had a bad experience with the dealer with several expensive issues shortly after my purchase. Brakes, alignment/tires, shock and steering wheel electronics (voice command, radio). The steering wheel electronics problem is common.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.
