Hammer It Home: Hammerhead Is Next Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Special Edition
Dodge sure knows how to draw out a long goodbye. After treating the last-generation Challenger and Charger to numerous special packages that were together known as Last Call editions, the brand is now doing the same with the Durango as it works through the last of its production Hemi and supercharged Hellcat V-8s. The latest limited run of the SUV is the 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead, which follows in the footsteps of the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, as well as the naturally aspirated R/T 20th Anniversary and Durango AlcHemi.

For a 710-horsepower, supercharged three-row SUV, the Hellcat Hammerhead is surprisingly restrained stylistically. Sprayed a dark blue that Dodge calls Night Moves, the Hammerhead draws its name from the gray leather upholstery, which features sepia Hellcat logos embroidered in the seatbacks and two-tone silver and sepia accent stitching. On the outside, a satin-black hood and black brake calipers are the only touches of overt aggression. Forged carbon-fiber dash trim completes the look inside.
Additional Standard Features
Otherwise, the Hammerhead is equipped like any other top-spec Durango Hellcat. It features a moonroof, 20-inch wheels and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Within the infotainment system, SRT Performance Pages can display timers, additional gauges to monitor engine health and performance, and a dyno readout. SRT-specific drive modes enable driver-adjustable launch control and shift-light timing. Dodge claims the Durango Hellcat can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, clear the quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph.
