Long-awaited Ford F-150
My husband and I searched online for what we considered the best deal we could find on a Ford F-150. We narrowed our search to two dealerships. After getting the best deal at the first one on a 2017 F-150, we proceeded to Sunset Ford where we met Jonathan Lloyd. He gave us a price on a 2018 F150 that we loved. Long story short, we got a complete run around at the first dealership. We called Jon, he gave us his lowest price. We said we’d take it and got it the same day. We love it! It’s everything my husband dreamed of! Jon took so much time explaining all the details to us. Everyone at the dealership that we met were so friendly and helpful. We look forward to our first oil change and car wash!

New Ford F150
We had a very good experience at Waterloo Sunset Ford. We called Joe Hill and told him the truck we were looking for. Within a day, he called us back with our options. With all the incentives added in, we bought a new truck even though we were actually looking for a used one. Joe Hill answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable. I would recommend Waterloo Sunset Ford for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Best Sales person possible
Went to Waterloo location of Sunset Ford to look at a 2017 f-150. Met with George Schnieder about truck. He was very helpful with our questions and could not have been better to work with. We decided to go with a 2018 from waterloo Ford, even if there are Ford dealers much closer to our home. It was well worth the drive to have the experience we had.

New car purchase
We bought our first Ford in 2011 from Sunset Ford Waterloo. We have been happy with the service since then and knew we would like to purchase here again. Hyundai Elantra
Great dealership-my boyfriend has gotten his past two cars from them, which was why I even looked on their website. Wasn't even really looking for a used car, but the Hyundai had less than 50,000 miles and it was a good price so I did not want to pass it up. Was able to look at the Hyundai on the same day that I asked to (even though it was at their other location, they still got the car to Waterloo in time) and got to test drive it. Didn't feel rushed about my questions or decisions. Only cons I saw in the entire process was that I brought my boyfriend with me (not for help, but just so he could get his referral money) and it seemed like the dealership conversations/car info were more directed at him, even though I was buying the car on my own.. Because the conversations were directed towards him more than me, I missed the part where there was no key fob included (which is partly my fault because I did not ask)

Appointments don't matter
I made an appointment 10 days ahead of time for 0730, 11/17/2017.. I called at 1145 to get a status and they had not even started looking at the car. Engine light on and I think the thermostat needs to be replaced. Bought my car there, have had it serviced therein the past, but never had this, "we're busy so we'll get it in when we can" attitude. Why make appointment? A call would have been nice letting me know that they could not meet the appointment schedule.

Used car purchase
I was stressed having dealt with another dealership and contacted Joe. Told him what I was looking for as I was at work. He drove to pick car up at different location and had it ready for me when I arrived from work. Much less stressful than my previous dealership purchases.

Pleasant Experience
We have bought vehicles from other dealerships and it's one my least favorite things to do. This was a positive experience, no pressure, little, if any of the "talk to the boss first" dance when talking price.

Pleasant experience not stressful.
We thought the process of purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership was a very smooth transaction. When we arrived as VIP guest from a phone call the night before our name and approximate time of arrival and vehicle were written on a board as we walked into the dealership. We went to meet and greet Jimmy Williams who greeted us very warmly and introduced us to our wonderful sales person Joe Hill ( he was awesome). He reasearched the two vehicles we were interested in and brought the one to us we were most interested in. Did a test drive. Sat down and nogitiated a deal with Mike Rich. Our salesman took care of getting our vehicle cleaned up and we met with Jimmy Williams our finance manager he was awesome and very helpful. From start to finish it was one of the most stress free buying a vehicle we had ever experienced. Would highly recommend this dealership.
