After several hours of internet searching, I located a

After several hours of internet searching, I located a 2014 Expedition which met the powertrain, HD towing package and maximum mileage I hoped to find at a significantly lower posted price than other similarly equipped Expeditions. Only problems were; no photos had been posted except a “stock” one of a Ruby Red Expedition and it was 350 miles from home. I made a call to Sunset Ford of Waterloo, IL, and was directed to Joe Hill who verified all information on the posts. Joe quickly provided a walk-around video and photos of an extremely well maintained and eye pleasing Rudy Red with Pueblo Gold trim Expedition. Within a few hours, I had shown my wife the video and photos, discussed the purchase with her, contacted my son to see if he could make a “quick” trip to Waterloo, IL, and taken the necessary actions with Joe to place a “hold“ on the vehicle. The following afternoon my son and I headed for Waterloo with plans to arrive there before 9pm, spend the night at a hotel adjacent to the dealership, meet Joe at 8:30 the following morning, make a final decision on the purchase and return home. Upon arriving at dealership, the vehicle and purchase documents were ready to go. After a test drive, a decision to purchase was made and documents were completed. Thanks to Joe, the Team at Sunset Ford of Waterloo and no traffic concerns, our plans were met, and my son and I returned home safely with what I feel is an outstanding vehicle at an excellent price.

Great business with old school ethics. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and worked with me and my vehicle. Lonnie was very personable and made me feel welcome and let me know the status on my vehicle the whole time. Justin was very easy to work with and went beyond to make sure everything went as I would hope. My vehicle was done in a timely manner and for that I am very appreciative.
