As far as the mechanical side of the service I would rate
As far as the mechanical side of the service I would rate 5 stars however as far as the service desk is concerned I would rate 2 stars and maybe even as low as 1 star. I have had my truck in numerous time for oil changes and other work so it’s not my first time here. The service has continued to get worse every time I come in with the last visit being the worst so far. I scheduled an oil change for 11:00, brought my truck in 15 minutes early and she advised it might take awhile due to only 1 technician. Let’s fast forward to 2:00, I called to check if my truck was done because I needed to pick up my kids. The lady on the phone said it looks like it’s done but she wasn’t sure, so she transferred me to the service desk which she didn’t answer as this has happened before. So I decided to take the 20 min walk to the dealer. I noticed that my truck was done, and I told her that I called to check but no one answered and she said she was at lunch. Well I would believe that someone should be there at all time as this is their job, I should have not had to wait 3 hours for a scheduled oil change. If this situation happens again I will return to Iron Ford in Sparta because their service department as of right now is leaps and bounds superior!

Great dealership and outstanding salesperson. I called from Manchester, MO just before 6 on a Friday and was able to make it to Waterloo, IL just before close at 7.00. We knew we wanted the SUV and that it wouldn't last long, so we had to see it that night. Kyle was extremely welcoming and had the SUV ready to see. He made the purchase process remarkably smooth. He and Perry the finance manager stayed till 8:30 to complete then purchase so we could drive it home that night. The 2013 Explorer was in remarkable shape and priced below market value. My daughter also received a military discount. I could hardly believe came with a 3 month 4000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and no other warranties were pushed on us which was refreshing. I will return to this dealer and this sales person. They are very kind and professional. The fact that it is a family owned company definitely shows.
