This place has terrible customer service. I tried working with the sales rep Tyler and he said will get me pricing for the car I was looking at. It has... been over a month and never heard back from him. I tried reaching out again to the dealership again and got and email saying Ryan would reach out to me. all I got was a call from someone saying they are from smith motor and wanted to run a credit application for me. They asked what car I was interested in and can I run your credit. I have never seen a dealership with such bad follow and lack of care to wanting to sell a car. It’s almost like they are not trying to sell cars.

Unfortunately, buyer beware of this company's shady bait and switch practices. I was extremely disappointed in the behavior of this dealership. I... had been on the market for a used vehicle, with a budget of 7k clearly communicated to our sales rep. My step dad went and visited the dealership a few days before me. He had chosen two for me to look at. We went to the dealership two days later on a Thursday and worked with the same salesperson. I drove both cars around the parking lot, one listed at 5k and one listed at 7k. We let them know that we would be back on Saturday to make our official decision. On Saturday, I arrived excited knowing that I was purchasing a vehicle that day. We took the car out on the highway for a good 20 minutes. My step dad had already let the salesman know that we intended to buy one of the two cars before we arrived on Saturday. We return to the dealership, let the salesman know that we are interested in the vehicle listed at 7k and if he could go get the warranty information for us. We are waiting for at least 15-20 minutes for him to come back with the warranty. When he finally does, he comes out with his boss. The boss says that he will not sell the vehicle to us at the list price, in fact he would like to raise the price almost 2 grand. He said that work had been done on the car and he "can't be losing money" and someone was supposed to change the price on the car and the website but "forgot." He even said he would be "willing to negotiate" the car to 8.2k (mind you it was listed at 7k, never heard of negotiating above the list price). Not even an apology, just poor business. Simply refusing to honor the list price. Instead, the customer has been blamed for the shortcomings of his employees. After looking at and expressing clear interest in this car for almost a week, this was a clear bait and switch. What I find comical as well, the car is still listed on their website for the original 7k five days after this incident, which says to me that this shady practice will occur again. We were completely disrespected as customers, but also to list a vehicle at one price and then when we are ready to sign a check, raising the price two grand is illegal. I would absolutely not recommend looking here for any used vehicles, especially if you have a clear budget in mind and do not want to be taken advantage of or manipulated. Terrible business unfortunately, I recommend going to other car dealerships in the area. Our salesman was fabulous, however, I would love to see him work somewhere that does not behave this way.

Went to several other dealers and was lied too and basically abused with false claims.Smith Motors and the staff was straight forward and honest and had... by far the best prices. Lou and the sales staff went out of their way to help me complete the sale

Walked in looking to Buy. Young sales guy was friendly and seemed sincere. Drove a truck, then started talking numbers. The sales manager is either... dumb or thinks everyone else is. He tried telling me I shouldn’t register my truck “farmer” and then instead of giving me a price he just said let me know what you get offered somewhere else and I’ll see what I can do. They offered $7000 less for my trade in then I got at another local dealership. Needless to say I went to the other dealership. Then..... it came time for service. Shame on me for going back to smith for my first service because it’s close. I made a Monday morning appoint for an oil change 2 1/2 hours + later it was done. Told them I was waiting. I understand that it’s the only Ford dealership in warren county but I still don’t know how they stay in business. Extremely disappointed because I had hoped for better

Cris Boyer in the last week Would never lease another vehicle from Smith due to sheer mishandling from their Service Department. 1) No loaner car 2)... No phone calls back 3) "Forgetting" to order parts 4) Not diagnosed correctly had to order more parts 5) Multiple trips back and forth over a two week period for a small work effort 6) HUGE waste of time BIG inconvenience 7) Never talk to the same person. No sense of ownership or tying to help - passing the buck - customer has to manage the process themselves 8) Had to pay to fix a leased 45k vehicle that is under a year old Bottom line. Customers should be treated differently especialy if repeat business is a goal. Would not recommend to friends or family. Buyer beware!

Brought my car in at 8am (the scheduled time) for routine service and recall warranty repair. I was told 3 hours, but no later than 1pm. I arrived at 2pm... only to be told nothing as done. No explanation was given. Owner approved no charge for the routine service. Rescheduled for the next day. Received a call that they broke a part on the recall fix and required 2 more days. The conversation with the owner did not go well. When my car was ready I was told the owner reinstated the charge because they can do whatever's they want as they are a proprietorship not unionized and not owned by Ford. The owner quickly relented his position after a brief conversation. The details of my conversation with the owner are not appropriate in this forum. Suffice it to say upon parting his company I immediately took a shower. Very distasteful experience.

I purchased a used Ford Expedition from Smith Motors in 2104. There were problems after delivery and even though it was sold "as is" they made good on... the repairs at no charge to me. The buying experience was fun and pleasant. Since the purchase, Smith has done work on the vehicle including finding a fault that other garages could not resolve. After than, they got all of my work. The prices for repair work and fair, reasonable, they won't do anything until they call you and go over the needed repairs and quote you prices for parts and labor. In addition, the vehicle was always ready when promised and I even got a ride back home and then they came and picked me up!! I have never had a problem with any of the work they have done for me. They are also willing (and have) answered questions for me that did not involve work or problems with the Expedition. I have had nothing but great experiences dealing with Smith Motors, particularly the service department and folks who work there. A great place to do business with and a great asset to our community!!
I purchased my f150 in June 2016. This purchase was super easy using true car. Got the truck I wanted at a very good discount. The entire process lasted... about one hour! Zero pressure from my salesman...Reading the past reviews was surprising. I am happy to recommend them.
My family has bought cars from this dealer before and have had no problems until now the salesman was nice but when I wanted to think about my purchase... over night like I always do a manager named Jack came out and tried to almost strong arm me into taking the truck. Not a nice way to treat returning customers! I left and will never be returning again!! Beware of this dealer they do NOT know how to treat customers!

I tried to leave a review 3 times... I would not recommend this dealership.. They had us running back and forth 3-4 times to look at a used a car, we were... then told the price of the car so we came back in to purchase it and we were told the person we were working with originally was not available and the price promised was changed... We were told WE CAN SELL THIS CAR ALL DAY LONG....Terrible ... Buyer beware
