Dishonest with vehicle condition

I don't leave very many bad reviews, but this one was necessary. We were set to purchase a 2017 VW GOLF ALLTRACK wagon from Jet Chevy last weekend. We had the vehicle inspected by an independent 3rd party service shop that specializes in imports. Most importantly, the certified 3rd party shop found a leaking water pump and a very low coolant reservoir. They said replacing the water pump was an "urgent" issue that needed to be taken care of "sooner than later." They provided pictures that clearly documented the need. The shop also discovered that new brake pads were installed over heavily worn rotors (front and rear). Together, those were $2k in repairs. There was another $1,800 in incidental and upcoming services recommended for within the next 5k miles. The total was about $3,800 in needed services, but we only asked Jet Chevy to fix the water pump and put on new rotors, as the price we agreed upon was for a car 'in good working order.' We had agreed on a price for the vehicle ($20k even) before the inspection, and Jet Chevy had promised to "take care of us" if anything came up before or up to 30 days after purchase. Jet Chevy wanted to take a look at the vehicle the next morning, then called and claimed that the water pump wasn't actually leaking at all, and that they would only take care of one set of worn rotors. (We have pictures in our inspection report clearly showing the leak, an almost empty coolant reservoir, and two sets of worn rotors). We didn't buy the vehicle, Jet Chevy said they replaced one set of rotors, and they have relisted the vehicle for $21,912. I would proceed VERY carefully if you are considering making a purchase with Jet Chevy. I absolutely believe the other negative reviews after seeing how dishonest they were about our water pump issue, and how uninterested they were in making repairs that would have been pretty cheap for them to do in house. If you are considering buying this vehicle, we are happy to share our inspection report with you. For this vehicle or any other, I'd ask Jet Chevy to document EVERY promise in writing. OTHER STUFF THAT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT They tried to convince us that that the 3rd party service shop was biased and trying to write up more business for themselves. Additionally, the sales rep (Blazer), called and texted us while we were out test driving other cars and repeatedly tried to convince us that the other cars we were considering weren't as good of a value as his Alltrack. "What are you test driving? How many miles are on it? If it's just a few thousand more dollars, I'd just go with the nicer car." etc. etc. All very tacky... Blazer offered a 30 day defect warrantee if we made the purchase, and promised to "take care of us." It was a challenge to get them to put this in writing though, and after they refused service on the photographed water pump issues, I wouldn't trust them on this at all. They started with "we price aggressively" and believe "this is a sales lot not a museum" even though this car has been there for four months unsold. They don't own up to their bad safety inspections because they are "under new ownership three months ago," even though most of their staff has likely been there much longer. Etc etc... Just proceed with caution if you are looking at a vehicle from Jet Chevy. Shoddy service department, dishonest sales manager and rep, and a high pressure sales game all make visiting here a generally unpleasant and risky experience. Sorry to report this. Best of luck in your search though.

First experience

The experience that I had with Philip by phone and text a good one. When I contacted him with questions and concerns he was there. That is one of the most important factors to getting me in door. No matter word of mouth! Respect! In the end though, the finance guy was a bit rude which made me wanna call the entire deal off. This person is also important to getting and keeping the deal. Buying a vehicle is a huge decision and one that for most is not taken lightly. I am never bothered by taking my business or money somewhere else, I don?t hesitate matter of fact. If not for Philip I would not have ever walked through the door even though I know others who has worked with him in the past. Click

2021 C8 covette

I placed an order back in 2019 for 2020 c8 corvette and nothing came. I was told to reorder for 2021 model. Which i did in back in early 2020. I was told my order will be coming in May 2021. Today is May 2021 still nothing. Be a man and man up tell me straight up, my xxxx ain't coming.

Would never buy from them again

Bought a vehicle from him few months ago, has several issues a couple of which they said they'd help with never have. Fix myself poor customer service whenever by from them again. For example Vehicle was missing a grommet at homes the head brace arm. Was told multiple times they would get the grommet for me and install it after 6 weeks I'm not getting the grommet said they ordered it have not received it multiple times. I myself went to the Dodge dealership order The Grommet and had it within 24 hours. Another example headlight for condensation the salesman Philip assured me that it was because it sat around for a while and that's driving it with the headlights on when try it out had not happened. Nobody ever return your calls. All they care about is getting your money and selling the vehicle. There's also a few other issues although be it minor I just feel like his company is very untrustworthy and would never ever ever buy from them again or recommend them to anyone.

Best car buying experience

I have bought a few cars in my life and I always end up spending the day at the dealer. Yesterday was the best car buying experience I have ever had. We had an appointment with Michael Cady at 11:45. We ended up getting there almost an hour early and he was ready to help. The car was in great condition except for a couple deep scratches and dents on the back bumper. Michael and his boss explained to me that they would fix it at no cost. The price on the vehicle was amazing to start and the price they offered for my car was great also. My husband and I were out of the dealership in 3 hours. Michael Cady made this car buying experience one of a kind. I would highly recommend Jet Chevrolet to anyone wanting a new or used car.

Easy to get to

Easy to get to. Just off I-5. I like the way they have their cars displayed. Sales people are friendly and made themselves available. They have a good selection of cars too.
