Do not, DO NOT, engage with these people. There are five unsolved complaints against them on the BBB NY website, mine being one of them. Their BBB rating... is F(!!!). I bought a great car from them, but the whole experience has been and remains and ongoing nightmare. They overcharged us for the car, even though they promised to honor the TrueCar price, and it took months for us to get that money back. They also added a warranty that we explicitly turned down, and we are still (11 months later) trying to get our money back for that. Our sales rep Jerome has left since we bought our car, and now the whole staff there is playing hot potato with the phone when we call. I corresponded with Sue and Joe for a few months, before Sue finally, back in February, told me she would submit the paperwork with the bank, and I would be notified by the bank when the refund had been processed. When by May nothing had happened and the bank had no communication with Baron on file, I called back, and Sue told me I had to speak to Ed, and Ed only - he was the only one that could respond to my complaint. So I try reaching Ed which is IMPOSSIBLE. In a year of calling and after three visits to the store (we live in NJ, which is the only reason I’m not there every day), I have still NEVER laid eyes or ears on the Ed. Finally, today, Pricilla, without explanation, forwards me to Melissa’s voicemail (I have never heard Melissa mentioned in these whole 11 months. No one ever mentioned her name, and today they tell me she has been there for quite a while, and she is in charge of the warranties. COME ON! They ALL knew our complaint was about the warranty, so why have I not been put in touch with her till now? Because, they’re playing hot potato and holding onto their junk until we finally give up and they get to keep their money). So I leave a voicemail for Melissa and call Pricilla back. Pricilla has no explanation for why I haven’t been connected with Melissa before, and insists she knows nothing about my case and can’t answer any of my questions. Excuse my French but I’m gonna absolutely call it: BS! They clearly know who we are by now and it is obvious from the second they reluctantly pick up the phone and transfer us to some new voicemail. I put so much good faith in these people, even after 7 months of being tossed around like hot trash I never had an attitude, never cussed at them and never left a public review or rating of any kind. And let me reiterate: we called them several times a week, sometimes several times a day, for MONTHS. We have been told Ed will be in at noon, just to be told at noon that he was there but just left. I have been told that Sue was on the phone and Ed was not working that day, just to call back 10 minutes later and be told that Sue was home sick, and Ed just went out to lunch. It is OBVIOUS that they are trying to ghost on us. I remember checking yelp reviews before we bought the car, thinking those bad reviews were the odd ones out and that we wouldn’t get sucked into the car salesman trickery that inevitable happens at every dealership, but oh how I wish I could go back and undo this entire business. I love my car but I would have found something just as great that wouldn’t have aged me and angered me so much. Just don’t do it.
I had an excellent experience at Baron Auto Outlet. As soon as I arrived, I was treated like a VIP. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and it was a... pleasure buying a car here. I will be sending all of my family and friends here.

I'm a first time buyer and I was just looking at some cars because I applied for a pre approval at the bank and I was waiting for a reply. They ran my... credit score mind you I have student loans and I don't make great money but I was approved for a nice car with no co signer. Jerry is great and the lady in the office I forgot her name :( she gives jelly beans in her office that's really good btw. This place has 5 stars from me but I'm having trouble pressing in on my phone and I'm getting mad lol
What is the point of keeping a price comparison site like cars.com if dealers can post one price on cars.com and then add $2,000 to the price before adding... tax and plate fees? Supposedly, it is for their having inspected the car, and an unspecified number of oil changes. I was going to have my own service man inspect the car any way. This practice is a throwback to the pre-web days, and should be discouraged by cars.com. Even though the end price may very well be comparable to the straight price of this car from other dealers, this sales practice leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, enough to leave me willing to pay even more at a dealer that posts a transparent price up front.
I recently bought my truck (a Nissan Murano) from Barons...I met with Mr. Jerome...he made buying a vehicle easy. I went to another dealer and they treated... me like crap. But, when I went to Barons, I felt like I was a home. And, I brought by cousin back the next day and he was able to get a good deal too. The only thing I wish they had over there was better parking...
We're excited, we bought our car from Barron Auto! I'm from New Jersey and I was initially skeptical to go to New York because of some bad previous experiences... I received from dealers since I started looking for a car weeks ago. I saw a car I liked online and I called the store and spoke & met with Jerone. He's great, a really sharp guy, knew his stuff inside & out, great personality, and he was a lot of fun to work with. Everyone was happy and joyful. The finance lady was great. I'm happy, my wife's happy! We got a nice car, with a fair price. Thanks so much Barron's team. My wife and I are happy. Thx again!

1. They misrepresented warranty. Said Manufacturer gives 4 year warranty. Failed to state that warranty starys on date of delivery to first owner. 2. While... waiting for delivery, battery was dead. They sent vehicle out for new battery. 6 months later, battery was dead, why, because the put a 3 year old use battery in instead of new one. 3. Had a problem with "cabin air filter." They said under dealer warranty. Took to dealer and was told not under warranty. 4. Called to speak to manager. Not available. Never returned calls. Want more??? 5. Stopped in to speak with him. He hid behind door when he saw me come in. 6. They will remove this post shortly 7. More?? Buy from them and find out
