Not just BMW’s, great service and sales experience

Bought a used Hyundai SUV. Not even a BMW and they had the best price in town. Great sales service from Justin. Great service service from Connor. I’ve needed a few little things since the purchase and they’ve been right on top of it. Highly recommend even if you’re not looking for a BMW and like me you just want an affordable quality used car.

Repair to Purchase

Five years ago I purchased a used 535xi series BMW with 100,000 miles from a different dealership, and sank a fortune into repairs. After taking it to two separate mechanics to get a price to replace a simple coolant return line to one of the turbos, I finally caved and took my car into BMW of Denver Downtown, expecting the worst. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an incredibly friendly service agent, Palmer, who was upfront and honest about the situation of my car. I mentioned how frustrated I was with the repair being a problem most mechanics didn't want to approach, and told him I was looking for diagnostics and a full overview of the current situation of my car. The next day, as promised, Palmer contacted me and gave me the cold hard facts that my car was as expected, in need of a few expensive and labor intensive repairs, but suggested I speak to Jack Reitz, who would appraise my car, and help me figure out the next steps. Jack promptly called me later that afternoon and helped me navigate/decide whether or not I wanted to sink more money into my beloved BMW; lease or buy a new or used car. Little did Jack know that he would become my new best friend over the next few weeks as he helped me and my husband navigate our options...Jack's knowledge regarding not only BMWs, but also every other used car I asked him to test drive with me, as well as his patience was unsurpassed. Any other human would have been overly frustrated at our ever changing criteria and hunt for the unicorn of cars, but Jack persisted with a smile and positive attitude and I can't thank him enough. He was upfront, honest, knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant, incredibly helpful and he truly went above and beyond to help us decide what car was the best fit for our family with two littles and a few pups for our avid outdoor lifestyle. BMW, you have a truly amazing representative in Jack Reitz. Thank you Jack!

Clay Geistweidt is an OUTSTANDING Service Advisor! I had asked for him by name and was I ever lucky to get him. I have had a few Service Advisors in the service department. All have been wonderful. Clay, however, is EXCEPTIONAL! Never before have I had someone so ACCESSIBLE by phone, so ATTENTIVE to my concerns, so RELIABLE, so HELPFUL, and someone who kept me informed of everything during the repairs of my car. On top of all this, he is WARM and FRIENDLY, and, most importantly, he made me feel SAFE I was leaving my car in the very BEST and EXPERTISE hands. Thank you so much, Clay! Service Schedulers Bri Bollard and Erica Minjarev have...

Service Schedulers Bri Bollard and Erica Minjarev have been so warm and kind to me when I have called for service. Bri even knows my name by the sound of my voice. She offered to lend me a loaner car while I was having my car worked on. Every time I call she is so quick to get me the help I need. Both Bri and Erica have genuinely friendly voices, and they are so sincere. Both are truly assets to BMW of Denver Downtown's Service Department. Thank you, Bri and Erica, for helping me each time I call. Oh, and I certainly do not want to forget Chris Thompson in the parts department. I am not surprised he was voted "Outstanding Employee of the Year." Thank you, Chris, for finding the wheels I needed for my BMW. They made the perfect finishing touch to the detailing of my BMW.


I was VERY close to purchasing a CPO BMW from this...

I was VERY close to purchasing a CPO BMW from this dealership, but ended up purchasing a better optioned, and more expensive, BMW from elsewhere. Nick Nichols is an excellent sales representative. He truly went the extra mile and patiently explained BMW of Denver Downtown's sales procedures. As an out-of-state buyer, Nick sent all of the extra photos needed to reassure me of the cars condition. That said, the dealership itself makes you jump through some extra hoops if you don't live in Colorado. For instance, even for an all cash deal, they insist on running a credit check. Inconveniently, they also won't FedEx the paperwork directly to you, but instead will only FedEx it to a bank so it's notarized on the spot. This additional security is on top of having your name, address, social, insurance company and copy of your drivers license. I understand the need for additional checks, but like I wrote it is inconvenient. Truly, I wish my CPO BMW had been purchased from BMW of Denver Downtown and Nick Nichols. Over a couple of weeks, I looked at three cars in their inventory and their prices were more than fair. They were also a much more tightly run ship than the dealer I ended up buying from. I hold them, and Nick in particular, in high regard. For any future purchases, their dealership will be my first stop.

I wanted to write a review based on leasing two vehicles...

I wanted to write a review based on leasing two vehicles from BMW of Denver Downtown within the last 9 months. Both times, I received excellent service from my Sales Advisor as well as Edward Freehart. I've seen some negative reviews mentioning Ed, but that wasn't my experience at all - in fact it was quite the opposite. Back in December I custom ordered and leased a 2021 X3 M40i and Ed became involved in the deal structure which was very favorable for me. I then picked up a 2022 M850 Convertible in May and again, Ed became involved in the terms and really went above and beyond for me. The global chip shortage had just begun to impact inventory but Ed still treated me like a VIP! I also need to send a special shout out to Seisho Limbacher who was my SA on the M850 Convertible - he was an excellent communicator, patient and knowledgeable person to work with and I highly recommend him. I can't speak for the experiences that others have had, but I was friendly and communicative and received the same in return from Ed and his sales staff. I won't go anywhere else for a BMW based on years dealing with their sales and service staff. RS
