Went down last week to look at some amgs, I went through about 20 different dealers in. The area and by far Merlex had the cleanest options for the Mercedes cars I was interested in. After driving a couple I went down to my local bank and got a check they had me in and out within an hour and a half which is impressive especially while getting the car detailed and fueled up !!

I asked if there was anything wrong with the car because I was traveling almost 4 hours to buy the vehicle with cash. Ask for videos and they claim they couldn’t send me videos due to their policy which was a lie. I drove all the way there to find that the car was not there and the car also had a check engine light after asking the salesman not to lie to me and to make sure that the car was OK before I drove up there with my family to pick up the car. The day before the salesman told me that the car was in great working order and that the vehicle would be there for me to pick up and they can assure that the vehicle was in great working order. I explained to them if I take this drive don’t let me down because it is a four hour trip to come get this vehicle. I got to the dealership and there was a salesman standing outside that told me that the car was at a shop because the check engine light was on and that the salesman that I was speaking to was not there. They were very unprofessional and they lied to me after me renting a car spending money and driving my family wasting a whole day for eight hour round-trip to come back home with no car. This dealership is a joke. Don’t trust them. They will lie to you and put you into something and try to cover it up and when you have a problem, they will not call you or text you after you ask them to. This place cost me a lot of money and time and really upset me in my entire family that I drove all the way up there with to pick up this car disappointing my wife because this was a surprise car for her. As I said, very unprofessional and never do business with them. and I have text messages to prove everything I’m saying right now and I will be posting them on Google.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership over a month

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership over a month ago, and while the initial sales interaction was pleasant, everything since then has been a nightmare. After driving over two and a half to make the purchase and returning home late at night, I quickly realized the brakes were unsafe and one tire was severely worn. I immediately contacted the salesperson, who assured me the issues would be taken care of. I had to take another day off work to drive back, only to be told that they would replace just one tire (with another used tire) and that the brakes would not be repaired. Instead, I was promised that brake parts would be purchased and shipped to me, but I would be responsible for the repair costs myself. To this day, no parts have arrived. It has now been well over a month, and I still have not received the permanent tags for my vehicle. Despite placing multiple calls, my attempts to speak with management have been met with rudeness and dismissive comments. One representative even told me to “get my lawyer to speak to their lawyer.” This entire process has been extremely stressful and unprofessional. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to look elsewhere.

This review aims to critically examine a negative

This review aims to critically examine a negative customer experience with Merlex Auto Group, focusing on the ethical and practical implications of the reported sales practices. The experience, as described, raises concerns about transparency, inventory management, and overall professionalism. I would not recommend doing business with them. The core complaint centers around a significant discrepancy between advertised inventory and actual availability. The ad alleges that they were informed a specific vehicle (2010 Mercedes S Class 550, Black) was on the lot, prompting a considerable commute of an hour and a half. Upon arrival, the vehicle was reportedly not present, and an attempt was made to redirect the customer towards an alternative purchase. This situation immediately raises questions about the accuracy of Merlex Auto Group's online inventory listings and the potential for deceptive advertising. Furthermore, the ad highlights a breakdown in communication. Despite confirming the vehicle's availability via text message with a salesperson ("Grace", which was probably one of the male salesman) both in the days leading up to the visit and on the day of, no mention was made of the vehicle being unavailable. This lack of transparency suggests a failure in internal communication and a disregard for the customer's time and travel expenses. The fact that the vehicle is still listed on both the dealership's website and Carfax, despite its alleged unavailability, further exacerbates the issue. This discrepancy points to a potential systemic problem in inventory management, online listing updates, and falsified information. From an ethical standpoint, the alleged actions of Merlex Auto Group raise serious concerns. The potential for bait-and-switch tactics, coupled with a lack of transparent communication, erodes consumer trust and damages the dealership's reputation. Moreover, the failure to update online listings constitutes a form of misrepresentation, potentially violating consumer protection laws and honesty. This issue needs to be raised to upper management.

Misrepresentation and Safety Concerns I purchased a

Misrepresentation and Safety Concerns I purchased a Porsche from Merlex Auto Group and had the car for only nine days before encountering a series of serious issues. The dealership engaged in what I believe was a bait-and-switch, as I initially came in looking for a Mercedes listed at $23,000 but was told I wasn’t qualified and was sold a Porsche for $30,000—well above market value ($19,000). Other issues include: Down payment misrepresentation – I paid $3,000, but the dealership claims $7,900. Missing title – The title has never been issued or transferred. Vehicle issues – The car needed repairs, including brakes, and was left at the dealership for two weeks without being fixed. Unannounced delivery / key removal – The car was delivered to my home without notice, and the dealership instructed the mechanic to remove the key without my consent. Owner interference / safety concerns – The owner blocked my communication and came to my house unannounced with another person in a manner that made me feel unsafe. Due to these problems, I had to rescind the purchase. I am currently in the process of disputing the transaction and the financing. Unfortunately, my attempt to resolve this has been unsuccessful so far, and I am now left without a key to my car, without a title, and the car is undrivable. Overall, this was an extremely stressful and unsafe experience. I do not recommend doing business with this dealership, and I urge others to proceed with extreme caution.

I purchased a 2018 Cadillac that soon began experiencing mechanical issues. The vehicle stalled repeatedly, shut off on its own, and became undrivable. When the bank contacted me to check the status of the vehicle, I explained the situation. As a result, the bank declined the deal, citing the dealership's refusal to make the necessary repairs. The dealership took the car back but did not issue a refund. They still owe me $3,000. When I attempted to follow up, the dealership threatened to call the police if I continued contacting them.

People, we had to sue them and got a judgement.

People, we had to sue them and got a judgement. We were screwed by this company but finally got a judgement. We had a harrowing experience and had to sue them. They had their salesmen testify under oath and lied and the judge awarded us our money and more. I can give the details of the lawfirm that helped us if you inbox me. This is America.
