    We came in because the price online of 8,999, when we got there everything was fine we took it for a test drive. During the test drive we told him we were... going to pay cash outright. When we get back he comes back with papers says okay if you finance through us you can get it for that 1400 for accessories (whatever that was) but cash it’s going to 9,999 but we’ll do 9,400. Umm no we came here because the price was 8,999 and trying to get it for 8,509. How are you going to go up because we’re not financing through you. They wouldn’t even budge. Once we call them out they got defenses and instead of admitting they were trying to pull one over my and my husband they just got firm on the price. The thing was we had the money and ready to pay the 8,999 but Eff that if you think your going to try and charge us more because you thought we didn’t do our research. So glad I didn’t buy a car from them especially after ready these other reviews.

    Screwed us over on xxx 2016 Hyundai Elantra! The brake pads were metal on metal and no undercarriage! Transmission went out only 11 days and only had... 28k miles. It was still covered Hyundai’s warranty so they replaced the transmission. We had to call a Hyundai dealership to see if they’d tow it...Show Me refused to call. The Hyundai dealership said Show Me had to know about these issues as well as the after market starter and part that was in the transmission. And if they didn’t, it’s because they didn’t do their due diligence in the first place! I was livid and called Show Me wanting a full refund on this piece of crap they sold us! Since a refund wasn’t an option, they fixed the brakes and ordered an undercarriage for the car. After reading the reviews and seeing a lot of the same complaints, I was even more convinced to give a review, hoping to save someone else the grief we went through! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

    Believe the bad reviews. I went there to look at a 2013 Ford F150 Platinum. When I got there, everything seemed just fine, the people were nice and I got... on my way to test driving it. There were some very obvious issues with the truck that I noticed and brought up to the dealer. They decided to get in with me and test drive it again. The first issue was with the engine making a loud noise that they couldn't even figure out but instead of saying we will fix it, they simply said, its nothing. Then the rear window wouldn't shut, "oh thats nothing, just slide it shut, just a short somewhere". And yes, there was more. They then decided to do whatever they can to get me to buy the truck by asking me to put down a deposit while I make my decision. The guy that said this to me was a little pushy when I told him no, he came back saying in a louder voice "Now just hold on one moment and let me finish". Right then is where I knew this place was completely crap and decided to ask for the keys to my old truck. Don't do business with these people, their inventory is crap just like their service. Also, that truck I mentioned sold then was posted back up a month later, same pictures and all, for the same price. That should tell you a lot about these people.

    If you’re looking to buy a vehicle from SHOW ME AUTO MALL IN BELTON MISSOURI please read this post and DO YOUR RESEARCH! After they ignored and avoided... many phone calls I’ve decided to warn others of our stress. On February 1st my Fiancé purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram from this dealership. At the time of purchase we dealt with a gentleman named Justin, who convinced my fiancé a “FULL” coverage warranty was necessary. We took the truck home that night and the headlight was out so we returned it to the dealership to have it fixed. They told us it would take an hour. We attempted to call the dealership after dropping his truck off for the rest of the evening to find out when it would be available and couldn’t get clear answers. The following day we received a call that it was ready. When we got to the dealership the headlight was hanging out of the truck, not repaired. They stated the mechanic went to lunch. Waited an hour for him to return. Took the truck home and yet again the headlight was not working! My fiancé took the headlight out of the truck and realized the “mechanic” at their dealership used SILICONE to glue the cable to the headlight!!!!! I called up to their office and spoke to Bill and he said they would fix it. Fast forward over a couple of days. We were driving the truck on 70 hwy and it lost all power and shut off, ON THE HIGHWAY! So we called back up to the dealership and they told us to take it to their Harrisonville location because they have bigger shop there. So we did. Once there they stated the oil was too low on the truck we JUST PURCHASED and that was what was causing all the warning lights to come on the vehicle. (they claimed to have changed the oil in their paperwork prior to our purchase). The full coverage ($3500) warranty claims to cover “everything”, but the dealership wants to charge $200 to change the oil and for running a diagnostic test. We are fighting this dealership to get the warranty removed since it is useless. Since we started having issues with this truck and the dealership I have done my research and there are tons of similar reviews. This place will LIE to you and sell you vehicles with issues they have covered up.

    Crooks! I emailed inquiring about a car and they assured me their cars pass mandated Missouri inspection and “you should find anything to complain about”... if I made the two hour trip. The interest associate also assured me “We want to make sure our vehicles are something we can stand behind, and that doesn't happen if all you do is wash them and put them on the lot.” 3 regrettable days later, I am certain all they did WAS wash, detail, and throw on the lot. A price was quoted to me online and when arriving, they attempted to tell me they could not offer the quote. Dirty sales tactic and then they supposedly “could get it to work”. They also tried to guilt me by showing me they had already lost $4k on the car which seemed very unprofessional. When test driving, the associate told me the engine light was a tire warning light. The ad said the car was “CLEAN” and I am guessing that doesn’t include the poor internal condition with missing pieces, numerous cigarette burns throughout the car, horrible smell, up to 10 dings/ scratches externally. The vehicle supposedly passed inspection and also stated on the Carfax that the headlights had been replaced, but I luckily saw in the reflection in the dealership glass that the headlight was out. They agreed to replace before we left. The tire warning was on the entire time and the tire was supposedly inflated and the associate assured me the warning would disappear after the vehicle warmed up. Halfway home (a 2 hour drive), the engine light came back on. I am guessing they just cleared the code rather than running diagnostics because a quick stop in Autozone and it threw several codes that will need fixed soon. Yesterday morning, I discovered a 6 inch diameter of oil on my garage floor, so it also has an oil leak. The backup lights are out, which was supposed to be part of the mandated Missouri vehicle inspection. I found this famed, mandated Missouri inspection report in the glove box and it is merely lights, wipers, tires, etc. There is no way they guaranteed they were selling me a sound car, so if they assure you of this, check for yourself. While they offered to come pick up the vehicle and bring it back to fix, my trust in this place is completely gone. I should have paid attention to the other bad reviews and was naïve to think a business could never be this crooked and stay in business. I have no idea how much money I will have to put into this vehicle, but I am certain I will not let them put another finger on it. This is the first time I have ever bought a car from a dealer and the experience was HORRIBLE.

    Terrible service! I had issues with the car. They lied about the problem to get me out the door! Told me it was a sensor when I came back in less than... a week. Now I have a payment on a car I cannot drive because of a blown motor. This place is a disgrace to the used auto industry!

    Do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY from this dealership! My husband and I (regrettably) purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and the experience... was the worst we've ever encountered. Our salesperson, Erin, was very nice . I'd say she was the bright spot in the experience. The finance people wrote up the contract for a price HIGHER than the advertised and agreed upon price....what finance person does that? When we had to go back to have the paperwork redone, the finance guy just tossed the paperwork on the desk and said "sign and let me know if you have any questions". When I went back to ask those questions, he tried telling me things were fine. They were not fine - the warranty coverage had the wrong name!! We were promised things would be done and they weren't. One item promised was an extra set of keys to the vehicle since they only had one set. What they sent me was a generic key plate which I know have to take to a shop or dealership to have cut myself - this means I'm the one incurring the cost. Nice and cheap way to get out of providing service and value to your customer. I reached out to the dealership to get them resolved and those emails and calls for help went unanswered. To top it off, they didn't even hand off the vehicle with a full tank of gas......it was near empty which meant we had to fill it before we could even drive home. I've never bought a vehicle in which the dealership didn't fill up the gas tank before allowing me to drive off the lot with a newly purchased vehicle. I will NEVER refer anyone I know to this dealership. I assure you - there are many other dealerships out there to purchase a vehicle from and they will most certainly treat you better than this one!

    We located a 4x4 truck at Show Me Auto Mall North in Belton, Missouri. It looked good except for a rusty latch and some small scratches on the fender.... Although the purchase process was not the speediest, we did purchase the truck and asked them to replace the latch and touch up the scratches, which they did. After leaving the dealership, we couldn’t tune in radio stations and noticed the antenna (on the scratched side) was missing. We purchased an antenna but were unable to install it. We had driven the truck for several months and were happy with it. One day while walking on a deck, we were able to see the top of the truck and noticed the roof of the cab had a dent with missing paint and long scratches. The dent was on the same side as the touched up area. We were disappointed and feeling bad about the purchase. We thought we’d call the dealer and see what they had to say. They were willing to repair it to make it right! Logan offered to install the antenna at the same time. The repair job on the roof is excellent. This made us very happy and gives us confidence in Show Me Auto Mall North to treat customers well.
