The guy who runs the place is a no-nonsense guy and before you run into him, you will most likely run into an extremely rude guy who sits there and says... he doesn't have the key for the cars when really he's gauging who is there to waste his time. I had an argument negotiating with the guy and you're really gonna have to be prepared for some stern back and forth. They won't really let you check out the cars, they're likely dead and dirty so be prepared. You have to be persistent. The owner may even say something offensive but if you found a car that is a diamond in the rough there, just roll with it, keep your adult humor ready. I know I'm leaving a negative review because it was a bad experience but the guy who runs the shop is actually pleasant to deal with once you've made a deal with and It definitely surprised me.
I called for information, the listing had mileage discrepancies I pointed out, and I wanted to see what price is was based on. He was very rude and condescending.... I mentioned it was $1000 over the price for the model/year per Kelly blue book, he said to "go buy a car from them then". I literally was in shock when I got off the phone. He didn't let me speak, he ruled the phone call with a rude demeanor and poor attitude. He lost my interest and potential sale. He was the most unprofessional and rude person at a car sales lot I've ever dealt with.
Econo Automotive and Bentley Auto Group are the same location. Now I see all the bad reviews!! Run while you can. The "f-word" using manager, Mike,... feeds on first time buyers. Picks up the phone on a recorded line. Calls you back on his cell phone to cuss you out. Im up to $1800 in repairs and haven't owned it a week.
Oh my, I had the most insane experience at Bentley Auto Group. For starters, I just want to say that I think this guy has changed his business name multiple... times due to the onslaught of negative reviews. I'm looking for a car, and saw that these guys were selling a 1995 m3. Car looked great, I texted asking when we could come see it. We finalized a meeting time. Now I need to add, I am 16, this would have been my first car. I have a startup, and had all necessary funds to purchase the car. My mom drove me from Santa Monica all the way out. We planned on our mechanic coming, but last minute he couldn't. We were still very serious, and had the money (in cash) with us. We got to the dealership, and the car looked great. One of the employees helped us, and we took a walk around of the car. Looked great, we were very interested. The one thing we did notice, was that the car made a strange ticking sound when turned on. Probably something with the VANOS, but still odd. Now when the apparent boss of the dealership came out, it started to get weird. The man was VERY pushy, both to me and my mother. After literally 10 minutes of us looking at the car, he angrily asked if we were ready to buy. We were not, as we hadn’t even gotten a test drive. We said we wanted our mechanic to come look, and he became furious. We were about to ask for a test drive, when he declared “YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME”. It’s safe to say that we left and headed elsewhere. A shame too since we were very interested in the car. Please, don’t go here. This guy is crazy and treats his potential customers like sh*t. That’s why he has a 1 star review from countless people.
Bought a car from this place. Drove down from the bay area. Got to dealer and the car was nothing like the picture he posted. Pics mad car look good but... it was in bad shape. He said it was perfect it was far from.. It was a great price tho so even after reading all the bad reviews about this place I took the chance and bought the car anyway. Big mistake hour into my trip back to bay area the check engine light and emissions light came on. Called him to let him know and he got upset with me and told me to F off and hung up on me. Two hours later car went into limp mode and had to pull off road. After shutting down car and waiting 30 minutes or so the car fired back up and I drove it right to my mechanic. $3000.00 later it's back on the road. So much for a deal. My advice to anyone thinking about buying a car from this place is DON'T!!! And as you drive by yell to them they suck . I would every day if I didn't live 400 miles away. Asked if I would recommend to a friend....xxxx NO!!!
I was on the phone with the owner of Bentley auto group located here for less than 5 minutes and he was so rude and seemed so shady, would not recommending... going or even speaking to these people, was not friendly or intent on the customer.
Every car on the lot is FILTHY inside and out! They are covered in an old layer of dirt and bird crap. You can't even look through the dirty windows.... Most of the cars are parked too close together to be able to inspect them too. Some are a fire hazard that are being enveloped by grass and weeds. The dealers are terribly rude and they don't even want to pull out the car and show it to you. They only want to fight and haggle about the price of the car even if it is being repaired off the lot! These dealers just cannot be trusted!
*AVOID AT ALL COSTS* If i could give less than 1 star i would. These people here are extremely rude and were basically telling me that unless i show them... my credit score then i am not allowed to see the car I went there for (03 BMW M3). Also when i asked where the car is the 1st answer i got was "Its not here, my boss has it at his house" and the next answer i got was that "Its at the shop" and that I could only see the car if i showed them my credit. Not to mention all their cars look like they came from a junkyard and not a dealer at all (missing body panels, really dirty, etc.)
The entire parking lot is a car cemetery where cars go to die from dealer neglect. All of the cars are filthy with a caked on layer of dirt, bird crap,... and grease. The weeds are growing under and around the cars. The car dealer is a rude idiot who is terrible at negotiation. He will try to sell you a car that is being repaired and not even on the lot to see, to sit in, or to inspect. They don't even want you to test drive these filthy cars. No wonder there are cars that have been sitting in that used junkyard car lot for half a year or longer. This angry dealer Mike sucks at the used car sales business.
This place is a trash collection and the owner is a lazy worthless pile. Rude arrogant and lazy and the cars are absolute junk! Dont waste your time here
