Old and fuel filters changed

The shop made quick work of the old and fuel filter changes on my 2017 F-250 6.7 and will be coming back for other service needs!!

Disappointment beyond belief!

I “WAS” a repeat buyer because I wanted to patronize my sales associate from my prior purchase. Being a repeat customer meant to me that I would receive the same exceptional experience as before, however, that was not the case. I sold my car outright with the anticipation of needing a truck and in turn went to Joe Machens Pre-Owned center to find the perfect fit. Much to my disappointment, I did NOT find a truck and after being told there was NO negotiating room in the prior 7 trucks my salesman tried to get me into, settled on a smaller version of what I had just sold. I went from a Lincoln MKX to a Lincoln MKC. I loved being a member of the Lincoln family as it had been a positive experience in the past. I felt misled and manipulated as well as disappointed in the professionalism by the person handling the financing for various reasons. They also had to order a small plastic console compartment door to replace the broken one so I didn’t actually take delivery on the vehicle for over 2 weeks after it’s purchase. I believe that my salesman made every effort possible to make me happy, however, I feel the desk was more concerned with making profit than getting me into a vehicle I truly desired. I made it clear to my salesman that I would be more than happy to purchase another vehicle from him in the future as long as it wasn’t from Machens (McLarty). I’ve purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and have NEVER been as disappointed in my buying experience as I was with this purchase. I do love my Lincoln but I would NOT recommend ANYONE purchase one from the McLarty Group who’s apparent goal is profit and ease of sale, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!! I know my next purchase will probably be from Drewing Automotive as I know Gary Drewing’s reputation is to put the customer first!

Upgrade in automobile and service

Dan was a wonderful salesman. He LISTENED and then found the perfect vehicle for us. He was honest, genuine and professional! He responded to our texts and met us each time we came to visit. He explained the new technology in a "layperson's manner" so I could get started and enjoy. Jared Phillippe was in service and has taken care of my vehicle as if it was his own. Very professional and trustworthy.

Oil change

Everyone was very helpful & my service was finished in a timely matter. First time I used the fast lane, and the folks were nice & guided me through it. Sorry don't remember the name so of the employees.

A great buying experience

I recently purchased a new F150 truck at Joe Machens Ford in Columbia. I was referred to a salesman by the name of Bobby Hocks. From the very beginning, Bobby treated me with the highest level of respect and professionalism. He answered every question I had, communicated very clearly with me and I would certainly ask for him again the next time I go in to purchase a vehicle. In the course of my purchase, I interacted with several members of the Joe Machens team, all of which conducted themselves in a very professional manner. This was one of the smoothest truck purchases that I have ever made with any dealer. Not only was the transaction completed but my vehicle was fully serviced with a full tank of gas. The after sale follow up was extremely well done. I am a big fan of word of mouth advertising and I most certainly would be pleased to refer anyone to Bobby Hocks and the Joe Machens sale team. new truck

Russel did everything possible to make our overall experience as painless as possible and did everything we requested of him.He is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to follow up after the sale My only complaint is for a dealership that advertises over 6000 vehicles in stock only one 2018 ford pickup could be found.PS My wife still isn't to happy about red

Will never be back

Bought a used truck had to wait for them to clean it and fill it up and was suppose to service it ( change oil and exc. ). Took them a whole other day just to clean and fill it up bc they never serviced it like they said they would. Finally picked truck up and tank was filled up but wasn’t very clean and it hadn’t been serviced. Oil sticker wasn’t new and oil was old had to take it to a different ford dealer to have everything done bc was afraid they would say they did it but wouldn’t. So had to pay to get serviced when it should have been done. When I called the sales man Carlos he just said ( I don’t know what to tell you and asked if we got the extra warranty and he could schedule an appointment to have it done ). I just hung up on him and took it somewhere else and even had to change spark plugs bc had a miss fire and corrosion on battery terminals ( everything that should have been checked/ changed in the first place. I will NEVER deal with them again.

New F-150

I traveled from STL to buy a new truck from Machens Ford. I am return customer. Not only did I get a great deal, I had the pleasure of working with the best in the business. Justin Cochran and Doug Mooney...see you guys next time I need a new vehicle. .

Great people to work with

Mackenzie Short was our contact. She worked with us to get us the best deal. She was able to get the car we wanted transferred from Jefferson City to Columbia making our driving distance a lot less. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Mackenzie and she followed thru until we walked out the door and drove off in our beautiful Mustang convertible
