I found my used car online. They were cooperative with negotiations and I have now has my car for about 3 years. They did all the needed repairs on it... in their shop including changing the timing chain (Honda) etc. I have had NO problems with this car and I would definitely buy for them again. The only reason for four stars is that there was a small problem with me getting plates for my car on time, but they fixed that promptly. I was not asked or hassled to give them a review ever.

On December 26th I contacted Vestal about a Buick Enclave I found on cars.com. The sales person assured me that it was as represented in the ad. I drove... about 150 miles to the dealership I had never been to before. When I arrived, in the rain, the car was for me inside. The sales person gave me a short tutorial and gave me the keys for a solo test drive. When I returned we quickly negotiated a fair price for my trade-in and the price for the Enclave. All in all I found all the personal--salesman, financial manager and sales manager to be VERY HELPFUL. I am a very experience buyer and seller of cars and have owned a leasing company. However, the experience at Vestal was one of the most professional I've ever experienced.

Do yourself a favor...I brought 5 new cars and this is the best experience out of any car dealership. These folks are for real and very professional. If... you need a vehicle please give them first shot....you will be glad you did. Never had people be so nice...still just shaking my head.

This is how car dealerships should transact business. Matt, my sales person listened to me and made things happen within his power. He wasn't pushy at... all and he was patient with me in my complaining about other dealerships and my inexperience with a manual transmission. This isn't a complaint, but just an fyi for future buyers. The finance guy is going to try and upsell you. They're a for profit business. But he did not fight me on me on my refusal of any "extras". It's up to you, as the purchaser, to know what you're buying, to find out about warranties and service contracts, and to decide if the extra cost is worth any prospective benefits. In my experience with other dealerships, they are not, but it may be worth it for you. I say all of this to say that there is no "perfect" buying experience, but Vestal gets as close to what perfection could be.

My son purchased a new GMC 1500 in September 2018 and he still waiting for the correct paperwork. Despite several attempts to send the paperwork, the... information has been inaccurate. The latest set actually had my son purchasing a Ford F150. These continued fails by Vestal have kept my son from going to the DMV to get it registered. Needless to say, the 30-day tags have expired. They told him to rent a car to get to work so he did. Now that is coming out his own pocket. We sent our son to Vestal because we have purchased a car there before but I guess things there have changed for the worse. I won't be returning for a future purchase.
