BMW’s latest recall for a potential fire risk is both an expansion and a supersession of two previous notices that tallies more than 917,000 cars and SUVs.
Approximately 42,000 model-year 2008-12 BMW 128i, 135i and 135is sedans, coupes and convertibles are being recalled for wiring and electrical connectors.
Approximately 741,000 BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, X3, X5 and Z4
vehicles are being recalled.
