The auto-industry analysts at J.D. Power say vehicles built during the COVID-19 pandemic are more problematic than those manufactured any year since 2009.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 starts at $174,995 base price (all prices include destination), a premium of $58,200 over the already bonkers Corvette Z06.

With no changes to the existing non-ZR1 trims for 2025 beyond new interior and exterior colors, the legendary Corvette still starts at less than $70,000.

This year’s study is based on responses from 99,144 buyers and lessees of new model-year 2024 vehicles, and respondents were surveyed 90 days after acquiring their vehicles.

Before the highly anticipated debut of the ZR1 come summer, the rest of the Corvette lineup gets a small update.

Among minor changes, making headlines for the 2024 model year is the Corvette E-Ray, the first-ever hybrid and all-wheel-drive Corvette.

All three versions of the 2024 Corvette are available as a coupe with a removable targa-top panel or a convertible with a power-folding hardtop for $7,000 more.
