Overall, the new 500e is a comfortable, decidedly quiet, nicely damped but expensive little commuter car.
Even though it just got a slew of changes, the 500X feels like it needs a few more already, including ergonomic improvements and a better transmission.
The 500X has its moments, but it’s littered with small miscues in
drivability and roominess — some of them par for the class, others unique
to the Fiat itself.
