Mercedes-Benz is recalling more than 310,600 vehicles over a faulty driver’s door switch that may prevent the automatic parking brake from engaging.

As shoppers’ preferences have shifted to larger SUVs and pickup trucks, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that 10 out of the 14 discontinued vehicles are sedans or hatchbacks.

A software error affecting the backup camera display is the impetus for the latest recall from Mercedes-Benz, which affects more than 126,400 sedans, coupes, convertibles and SUVs.

These cars offer panoramic moonroofs or sunroofs either as standard or optional equipment for 2021.

More than 342,000 model-year 2019-21 Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG cars and SUVs are being recalled for their backup cameras.

Approximately 3,600 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedans are being recalled for an air-conditioning condensation drain hose.

Approximately 2,200 model-year 2019-20 Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedans, model-year 2020 CLA-Class coupes and model-year 2020 GLC-Class SUVs are being recalled for driver-side front airbag modules.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 starts at $37,645 with front-wheel drive, up a whopping $3,550 from the 2019 version, and growing the margin over the related 2020 A220 sedan to about $4,000.
