Subaru Forester

The 2018-19 auto show season kicks off Oct. 4 in California with the 2018 
 Orange County International Auto Show.

 claim.

The fifth-generation Subaru Forester is on a new platform and much 
 improved for 2019, but you might have trouble telling it from the 2018 
 model in a parking lot.

The 2019 Subaru Forester has a new driver-facing camera to monitor for 
 drowsiness and driver distraction. Subaru says it doesn't record anything — 
 but another camera system in the vehicle does.

For the 2019 model year, four Subaru models will get the automaker's 
 EyeSight crash-avoidance system as standard equipment.

Redesigned 2019 Subaru Forester rides on a new and bigger platform and 
 will start at $560 more than the previous model with automatic 
 transmission.

Subaru's Forester compact SUV gets a dash of style for 2019 to season its 
 earnest all-wheel-drive practicality. It's also roomier and now has the 
 EyeSight package.
