Thus far a good buy.

Owned the car for a few weeks and am impressed by its handling and fuel economy given it has 131k on it. Fun to drive.

An absolute Beast of a vehicle. Refuses to quit.

Simply the best SUV ever built. Purchased brand new in 2005 and is currently approaching the big 500,000 km milestone, with slight loss of horse power, but that’s just how everything is with age. The MDX has never broken down on us, (minus two flats), and although requiring repairs and replacement parts from time to time, (typically requiring repairs in bunches), the MDX refuses to quit.

Comfortable and dependable

I purchased my 2005 MDX new and now have 168000 miles. Outside of regular maintenance, I have replaced one driver's side door lock actuator ($200) and had the blue tooth (which I never used) disconnected ($50). Apparently as it goes bad, it starts draining the battery when the car is parked. That's basically it. Perfect size, not too small, not too big. Fold up/down third row seating makes room for 7 total. Very comfortable, great for short trips to the grocery store or cross-country cruising. AWD goes in the snow. I've been up and down Rocky Mountain roads, never stuck in the snow. Super dependable and drives better than most new cars. I looked at new cars in 2012 and again this year and haven't yet been motivated to replace it. Far and away the best vehicle I have owned. I gave it a 4/5 stars for performance just because it's not a racing machine. Has plenty of pick-up for day to day driving and highway needs.

By far the best built car I've owned

Through work we would get chevys and the like every 2 years. By 40000 miles they all had tapping in engines loose front end that you really feel thru steering wheel. My coworkers engine gave out at 45000 miles My mdx has 176000 miles engine sounds great like new in fact. Doesn't seem down on power front end and whole car solid as can be. What a huge difference between other cars I've owned.

It is a combination of luxury and being reliable

Makes me feel good driving this car. We have had no problems and hope to keep driving it a couple more years and then get a newer Acura MDX.
