    I bought this truck new 1/22.

    I bought this truck new 1/22. Have put over 100K miles in 2-½ years. No problems. Have 5.3L and 10-speed. Very reliable. Nothing has gone wrong. I feel the seat cushions are too short for someone over 6’.

    Don’t buy one

    I’ve had nothing but trouble since I bought this piece of xxxx in March of 2022. The drivers side door panel needed replacing, the tailgate release button had to be replace, while sitting in the garage overnight the truck drained the battery completely, 4 times, the last time the battery drained I was in the vehicle and the doors and windows locked and I couldn’t get out of the vehicle for 30 minutes. Gm sent a field service engineer to check it out but this problem has him stumped. My gm customer care advisor named Lori has been very helpful but there’s only so much she can do. Seems like once Gm has the vehicle sold they no longer want to know you. This is an slt model Sierra 1500 with the small diesel engine. The only good thing about this truck is the engine. I’ve asked Gm to do thee right thing but again as far as I know this hasn’t even been considered although this would be the right thing to do.
