The Land Rover Discovery Sport is entering its 12th model year, closing in on double the average lifespan of a modern vehicle. The compact five- or seven-passenger luxury SUV is simplifying its lineup for 2026, with a new Landmark Edition replacing the previously available S and Dynamic SE trim levels. On sale now, the 2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport starts at $51,175 (price includes $1,275 destination charge).

This sole Discovery Sport pays homage to the original 1989 Land Rover Discovery, with a version of its mountain-range logo adorning the sill plates and projected from the puddle lamps. Three new accessory packs — Beach Days, Road Trips and Snow Days — bundle dealer-installed options to cater to buyers’ needs.
What Are the 2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport’s Trim Levels?
The 2026 Discovery Sport’s sole trim level, the Landmark Edition, rides on 19-inch wheels and features LED headlights, a fixed panoramic roof, a power liftgate, and keyless entry and starting. Inside, you’ll find leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and metal pedals. Cabin tech consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, an 11-speaker Meridian sound system, and an 11.4-inch touchscreen with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The list of standard safety features includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot intervention, lane departure steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert, road-sign recognition, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree parking camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
The new Beach Days pack includes sunshades for all windows aft of the front doors, a collapsible organizer and rubber floormats, and the Road Trip pack adds roof-rail cross bars and a cargo box, plus seatback storage pouches hung from the front seats. The Snow Days bundle includes roof-rail cross bars and a carrier that can accommodate four pairs of skis or two snowboards, plus front and rear mud flaps and a rubber cargo mat.
What Are the 2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport’s Powertrain Specs and MPG?
A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine powers the Discovery Sport. It routes its 249 horsepower and 269 pounds-feet of torque through a nine-speed automatic transmission to standard all-wheel drive. Land Rover says the Discovery Sport returns the same EPA-rated 19/23/20 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model (official ratings for the 2026 model are not yet available).
