  • No major changes
  • Hybrid powertrain delivers up to 43 mpg combined

The Lexus UX 300h gives shoppers the opportunity to get a fully loaded Lexus for less than the average new-vehicle price of around $50,000. The smallest and most affordable vehicle in the Lexus lineup, the UX 300h is a small hybrid SUV with standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive.

What’s New?

After receiving a more powerful gas-electric powertrain for the 2025 model year, the UX receives no major changes for 2026, just some new colors and interior finishes and a standard hands-free power liftgate on the range-topping F Sport Handling trim level.

Release Date and Pricing

The 2026 Lexus UX will go on sale later in 2025. Full pricing is as follows; AWD is available for $1,570 extra on every trim.

  • Base: $38,250
  • Premium: $41,520
  • F Sport Design: $42,085
  • F Sport Handling: $46,670

Trim Levels and Safety Features

The entry-level UX 300h boasts 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard on every 2026 UX and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, emergency steering assist, oncoming-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering and road-sign recognition. Blind spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.

One step up, the Premium trim adds a moonroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The Premium trim and up include front and rear parking sensors.

The F Sport Design targets buyers looking for a more aggressive appearance, with unique front and rear bumpers, a black roof and sportier 18-inch wheels. It also features LED foglights, puddle lamps and Digital Key capability, which allows the owner to use their smartphone as a vehicle key.

Shoppers seeking sportier behavior from their little hybrid SUV will want to consider the F Sport Handling, which gets a revised suspension tune, more heavily bolstered front seats, exclusive Sport driving modes and paddle shifters. The F Sport Handling also adds a few more luxury touches, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker audio system and driver-seat memory.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

The Lexus UX 300h is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine assisted by a pair of electric motors. Total system output is 196 horsepower, routed through a continuously variable automatic transmission. FWD is standard; AWD, achieved by adding a third electric motor to power the rear wheels, is available.

Lexus says the FWD UX 300h returns the same EPA-rated 45/41/43 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model (official EPA estimates for 2026 are not yet available). With AWD, the UX is rated at 44/40/42 mpg.
