  • Driving my Third Toyota Previa Since 1991

I fell in love with the Previa when it was first introduced, especially after Ford, GM, and Chrysler sued Toyota for "dumping" the cutting-edge van in the North American market (they claimed it could not be built for $30K). I later bought a 1994 All-Trac for Wisconsin Winters and now drive a 1993 Previa to haul small crowds (up to 7) and move household goods (157.8 cubic feet of cargo space!). The van drives like new, looks like new, and still attracts attention everyplace it goes.

  • Amazingly Reliable!!

I've owned this vehicle since 1995. It has 230,000 miles on it. I've moved my kids in and out of dorms and apartments. Sheet rock, plywood, soccer goals, sand bags and many, many car pools! View out is great. Seating is very flexible because you can move rear seats out of way by folding flat, lifting up and strapping them to side (with included strap). You can remove middle seat. Seats can be removed, but they're heavy, especially middle seat. It handles very well because it's mid engine and almost has 50/50 weight distribution. Again, it's not fast and I often take it camping and it really struggles on the mountain passes at altitude. But that's what the flashers are for!

  • Still Love my '93 Previa!

We bought this dream van for our young family back in Nov '93 with only 5,xxx miles on her. Fast forward 26 years, dozens of cross-country, coast-to-coast field trips, from Quebec to Death Valley, family vacations, hauling kids to and from college, and everyday life, all of which added another 310,000 miles! She's still running strong. She has amazing carrying capacity and comfort. She never left us stranded, never gave us any engine trouble. Routine maintenance, A/C repairs every 100,000 miles or so, and some rusted exhaust pipes have been the extent of needed repairs. She still runs smoothly, and will be hitting the road for a 4,000 mile trip this summer. Couldn't be happier! :)

  • Excellent Vehicle

I bought this van used in 2000 and it has given me no problems at all. I simply keep the oil changed and serviced at least twice a year. The gas mileage is not bad either. When I purchase another vehicle I want a small one, maybe a car, and most possibly a Toyota.
