Good value for the amount of features and comfort. BMW 550i has 400 horse power, and V8 engine. 0–60 mph comes up in 5.0 sec., 100 mph in 11.4 sec. Super comfortable, reliable, and fast!!

2011 BMW 550 review
I own a bmw 2011 550i Xdrive M sport package with M Steering wheel, M sport suspension ETc and honestly one of the best car I have ever own and still own. Reliability has been decent on my end but no major issues thankfully. If you well maintain this car like I have and do oil changes around 4.5k you can make this engine last past 200ks miles.

2011 BMW 550 review
Owned a 2011 550 M Sport X-drive F10 loaded to the gills for five years now and other than routine maintenance items like brakes, spark plugs and coils, tires, etc, nothing has ever broken.. It has never broken down and has started every time I push the start button.. It had 52,000 miles on the clock when I bought it and it was in literally showroom condition inside and out with not even a gravel chip.. I have put on 65,000 problem free miles so far.. I did have the excessive oil consumption issue but that turned into a good thing because BMW settled a class action suit by agreeing to repair any cars with that issue.. BMW did $9500 worth of work on my engine at their expense at 90,000 miles.. So I feel like I got my engine rebuilt at 90k and it didn’t cost me a penny.. The car is crazy fast, really good looking and gets compliments everywhere I go.. Even though it’s now going on 12 years old most people still think it’s new or only one or two years old.. The M sport package is the way to go, the car is white and I put on 20” black BMW style 433 wheels which really look amazing.. The car with the M Sport suspension has an awesome stance looking at it from all angles.. Hard to distinguish it from an M5…I’ve owned 5 BMW’s dating back to 1986 and four Mercedes Benz so I know what I’m talking about when I say this is definitely the best car I ever owned.. I got it for a bargain price from a Subaru dealer and it’s paid off.. This car stickered for $86,000… So I got an $86,000 car with $86,000 car quality, materials, performance for less than a very cheaply made Honda Civic.. I take exceptional care of my cars with washing and waxing it weekly and it still is in mint condition inside and out… I still love it just as much as the day I drove it home… The only downside I can see is gas mileage, I get about 14 mpg city and 23 mph highway (at 80 mph).. I think buying one of these cars is good if the car was well maintained and a nightmare if you buy one that wasn’t maintained..

We noticed a small ding on the door edge. He offered to order and send us some touch up paint. I noticed the jack, tools and manual were missing. They ordered what we needed and are shipping the items to us. Dennis was very friendly and accommodating. The finance guy, also named Dennis, did a great job. Was easy to talk with and no pressure to sell us additional items or services. Overall it was a great experience.

I recently bought a 2007 Jaguar XK with 64k miles on it from JET AUTO and it was an out of state purchase. I live on a military base in VA and performed the whole transaction online. Since it was out of state I needed the car professionally inspected and they very welcoming of a professional inspection. When we got the condition report back we traded notes and they adjusted the price. Greg did one price "out the door" including SHIPPING the car. And to boot I got the car THE NEXT DAY!! Yes 24 hrs - I was shocked. Greg arranged everything, and did it super fast! Honestly, I've never had a car buying transaction go this smoothly - and the fact it was online made it even better. At the end of the day I would go to Jet again for another car. Sure I'd get a professional inspection of the car first, but I certainly would not hesitate one bit using Jet for a purchase. I've put about 40k miles on it...bought as a CPO with 30k miles. It really has everything I look for in a car, styling, comfort, speed and breaking. One downside is the entertainment system when phone is used for music. Mine still looks new! Highly recommend.

The only things that I have a problem with in this car are the cup holders and the Ergo nomics of the driver seat. You would think that the price and reputation of this car brand would be upheld in the attention they give to the comfort of the driver and passengers. Their rivals do it so well. 2014 BMW 550 review
When I was in the market for a 2014-2016 5 series, many people said don’t buy a 550i xDrive or not. I ended buying one because most come with more options like leather dash, Bang & Olufsen, with select that have full leather interiors meaning every part of the door panel is all high end Nappa leather with more leather bits too around. One of the most important things to discuss is reliability! These car are especially talked upon in regards to how long they can run. I would never take into consideration purchasing a 2011-2013 550i, for it had the original N63 engine which is commonly known for having major issues. The 2014-2016 model year got an updated engine known as the N63TU; the TU stands for technical update. Many of the issues from the original N63 such as bad timing chain tensioners, valve seals, and faulty fuel system issues were resolved after the N63TU made its way on the market. The only issue that does sometimes come in after 150k+ miles is valve seals, but that is mainly in regards to people wanting to change their oil at 15k or 20k miles and hardly top off their oil! This car does burn oil I find myself sometimes adding a quart once every 3-5 months. I’ve hit 105k miles the other day and the car still drives super smooth with punchy throttle. It runs like a clock. If you can take care of your car, and do good maintenance this car will reward you with what it has to offer. It’s a timeless looking car with lots of power and lots of options; some options I have on mine which I find are good to have are massage seats, cooled seats, anthracite headliner (choice of style), multi-contour seats— you need this make sure the one you find has 18/24 way contour seats, and lastly try to get one with good maintenance records. If the previous owner didn’t take care of it. You’ll likely be dealing with their problems and you won’t like the car. This is an outstanding used car dealership. I just cannot say enough good things about them! I have owned many cars and have dealt with many dealerships, but the owner of Excellent Motor Group is by far the very best person I have ever purchased from. He is the most knowledgeable, has the most integrity and honesty, works unbelievably hard, and is the most kind used auto dealer I have ever seen. This is what he did for me: I went down to buy a Ram Promaster cargo van. He worked very hard for me, making calls for about 3 hours to find a lender for me, but my credit wasn't good enough to qualify for the loan. So he showed me a Ford Transit cargo van he had on the lot which was a little older. I still couldn't qualify, so he dropped the price so I could qualify for the loan. Then I tried to pay the down payment with my debit card but couldn't pay the whole amount because of the limit on my card. I called my bank on the mainland to increase the limit, but it still didn't work. Then because of the time difference, my bank closed for the day and I couldn't call back. Then he let me use his computer to login to my insurance carrier's website, but I had trouble getting the lienholder's name and address to show on the insurance binder, so he sat down with me and helped me very patiently to solve the issue and get the insurance binder and my insurance cards and documents printed out. Then he drove me all the way across town to the lender's office, introduced me to the lender and explained the process, then waited for me while I set up my account and got my documents. Then even after the exhausting day, and even with my down payment only partially paid, he graciously let me to pay the remainder the next day, and he even drove me all the way back across town to my apartment. The next day he picked me up at my workplace and drove me to his lot, where I was able to finally pay the remainder of my down payment. He had already finished all of the documents and paperwork, and had also gone down to the dmv to do the temp registration. He also had done the safety and emission inspection, had the oil changed, and filled up the gas tank. Then after he had done all of this for me, he offered to hold the van at his lot until I could find a monthly parking place for it near my apartment. Then the next day after I found a monthly parking spot, I noticed that my name was slightly misspelled on a few of the documents. So I went down to his lot and he got all of the documents corrected very quickly, even while he was in the process of working with another customer. He had the keys ready plus a spare key, and the van was ready for me to drive home. And he did all of this over three days in the rain while major street work was being done right next to his lot. Wow! I recommend this dealer very very highly. I have never seen anyone so knowledgeable, so hard working, so honest and patient as him. The week I was at his lot, he sold 4 cars to customers who had purchased from him over 15 years ago, and now I understand why. When you find a dealer this good, you go back decade after decade. Outstanding.
2012 BMW 550 review
Best car I have ever owned hands down, and in 12 years I've owned 14 cars. I purchased my 2012 550 I with m package for 18000 and the third owner, all adult owned. Car had 88,000 miles and at first the oil consumption was concerning, but I contacted a local BMW dealership and took it in for an oil consumption test. It failed, but wasn't worried, BMW customer care package , as not to call it a recall, was going to replace valve guide seals, no cost to me. Even better, three weeks into it, I found out I was receiveing a new motor from BMW, still at no cost to me, was even upgraded to a long term rental provided by BMW. I couldn't be more happy with my experience or the purchase of my car. BMW goes above and beyond anything prior I have driven. The comfort is great, performance is amazing, the look and feel and feedback from the car are in a class by itself. 400 up, 450 tq, and when you step into the gas pedal...hold on, will pull you back into the seat. Simply breath taking. I have had it to 140 and it was still pulling. I know some people have negative things to say about the 550 I but if they have any concerns, contact local BMW dealership and see if they can get the ccp and no more worries. It has to be under 10 yrs old and less than 100k miles. Regardless of negative reviews, I love mine. Sporty, comfy, amazing sound system, the seats cradle you and hug you, the body lines draw your eyes to the car, and my trim level is black alcantra, it's amazing, and love the look. Ultimate driving machine is an understatement.

2014 BMW 550 review
I own a 2014 BMW 550i. My one important information that I would pass on is to make sure the Catalytic Converter after 4 years is free of debris because if you don't it could back up and blow a head gasket.. The Web design is not that big of an area and deposits can form on it and if it forms too much and that turbos trying to shove air down through there and if your exhaust can't get the air through it...then it will go back the way it came and then look out for trouble. It takes 4 years unless you are pumping garbage in your car. Thx, Eric

2016 BMW 550 review
Bought this 2016 550xi used with a warranty in early 2021. The depreciation on BMWs is almost unreal. Do not buy a new BMW, but 4-5 year old one is right in the depreciation sweet spot...with a warranty for piece of mind, but honestly the last two I had didn't need it. My third BMW used, and it performs great! The V8 is smooth and effortless with unending power and torque. The car is a bit heavy feeling, but sport mode makes it feel a little lighter. Interior is fantastic, and had lots of features. No Apple play until 2017 models, so that’s a downer, but I knew that when made the purchase. Anyway, love the car, love that the previous lessor ate 60% of the depreciation, and I’ll eventually find out if I needed the warranty. But for piece of mind, it was worth it already.

2013 BMW 550 review
I purchased new in 2013 with M-Sport and Executive pack options, and have never regretted it. Still look forward to the daily commute - love the instant acceleration, absolute reliability and total comfort. First car I've ever owned beyond the warranty !! 73k miles and still feels new.
