Used BMW X3 for sale in Camarillo, CA

Kwinn is very knowledgeable about the product and gave us a detailed demonstration of all the options we were interested in, and yet there was no sales pressure. A very pleasant experience.

The main issue I've had with this car is learning its vast number of controls, some of which are in strange places (such as at the end of the directional signal stalk) and are not clearly marked. The gearshift, for example, is counter-intuitive, and is moved backwards to go forwards, and vice versa-unlike most cars, it doesn't really move and fit into a slot for the appropriate gear. For no fathomable reason, the rear view camera stays on when you then drive forward. The warning system, for a car crossing or a person crossing, is unreliable; for example, if you have the car in reverse, the car hasn't moved yet, but a person walks behind the car, the warning signal does not sound--it only sounds if the car is already moving in reverse (if the pedestrian was walking right behind the car, you already hit him or her). There are also other "features" that make no sense. On the other hand, the car is fun to drive, reasonably powerful, attractive (I think--my wife disagrees), comfortable (except that one feels remarkably many bumps in the road), and quiet.

Steve Thomas BMW is as good as it gets for buying a vehicle. I recently purchased a 2011 BMW 135i convertible from them and have no regrets. I live in San Francisco so the negotiation process was done from hundreds of miles away. I got more than a fair price. I flew down, they picked me up at the airport, processed all the paperwork, and I was driving my beast up the coast in no time. I have been buying vehicles for 25 years and this is by far the best buying experience I have ever had. I think they are a family owned business and it definitely shows in the culture of the dealership. Everybody seemed to take pride in whatever job they had and treated you like a person and not just a potential sale - if you know what I mean. Second time working with David Aviles. This time leased an x5. David was amazing in terms of being flexible - he was able to source the car we wanted from another dealer and have it shipped to our house! And the pricing we got was amazing. If you know what you want and you are ready to move - David will make it happen. Very transparent sales process, no pressure, and way more efficient use of your time than getting cornered at a normal dealership. Last time I did Euro delivery and David did a great job with that too.

Love the X3! Comfortable and pretty good on gas.., smoot ride and so far been great with commuting. Will most likely purchase the x5 for a little more space for traveling.

I was welcomed politely and the salesman very informed about the m4 coupe. We looked T several models and colors. I was not sure I wanted a bmw and left the dealership on friendly terms. I love the car and at the same time I can't help to hate it. What I love about the car would be the luxurious interior, comfortable and quiet cabin, smooth ride, ease of access, and a few extra features that were put in as an add-on. What I don't like about this car would be the poor fuel economy for the 30i model, especially when compared to the B-58 engine. Apple carplay connection issues, no option for remote start unless I want to void warranty, and no option for the iDrive Recorder App. Exterior Styling - 8.5/10 Interior Styling - 9/10 Comfort - 9.5/10 Cargo space - 8.5/10 Driving smoothness - 9.5/10 Horsepower - 7/10 Fuel Economy - 3/10 It's been an overall fun car to get around in. It's easy to get in and out of, smooth on bumpy roads, and it is quiet. The fact that only 2022 models and newer offer remote start and iDrive recorder is a big disappointment. But I think my biggest disappointment would be the fuel economy. As I had the B-58 in the past and averaged out 11.5L/100km and in this X3 am averaging 13.5/100km which was worse than my pick up truck. I might not keep this car for long-term just because of how poor the fuel economy is.

I love that BMW makes a mid size suv that is part electric now. We purchased the x3 edrive. I do mostly local driving during the week so only need to fill up with gas once a month to every six weeks. Excellent car!

Meets my needs it is sporty, fast and comfortable and fun to drive. It handles well, the suspension is firm, it adjusts with the settings one chooses.

The BMW X3 is not a crossover that should be ignored. It is more than I expected coming from someone who has owned a 3 Series BMW for the last 6 years. Now I ask myself, why didn't I opt for the X3 much sooner, especially since it is more spacious with better features than my 3 series. Plus the price was only about $3,000 more for plenty more space and amenities. You owe it to yourself to test drive one soon!

My wife and I are very pleased with our BMW X3. I am impressed with the performance and the way it handles. I have owned and driven many autos this by far one of the very best.

The X3 m40i is the best family vehicle. Got a decent deal from CarMax on a lightly used 2019 x3 m40i. The hk sound system sounds terrible unless you figure out how to turn off the exhaust sound that comes through the speakers (leaves little bass balance left for the music), but luckily there are a few tricks (check forums). The vehicle is a blast to drive, yet can carry the whole family and luggage anywhere. I had a few e36 m3's a while back and repairs were reasonable and easy to do a lot of stuff independently, so repair costs (only needed brakes, tires and oil in the past 30k miles) on the new BMWs did come as a bit of a shock, but being proactive helps. The vehicle has been super reliable with no mechanical issues.

I had this car for several years. In that time, it was a great car. The only downside to the car was the fact that it was a BMW, so I couldn't take it to any old mechanic shop to get the oil changed. The car has great pickup and breaking, and is great for long distance rides. It's a smaller SUV, but there's still plenty of room. And when I got into an accident, it functioned correctly and kept me and other safe. The airbags deployed like they were supposed to. The only reason I ever got rid of this car was because it was totaled.

I recently bought an m3 from Bob Smith and had probably one of the best car buying experiences ever! Love my X3 SDrive 30i, it has a very smooth ride and a very powerful turbo engine, it’s very spacious and has a very nice interior, I like the infotainment and the touchscreen, and you also have a manual control next to the gearshift. I also like the fact that the map on the Nav system is updated from the cloud and not a disk or chip. This is my first BMW and I am very very pleased with it, I previously had a 2013 Lexus LS460L, I loved that car but I thought it was just too big for me being a single man. The X3 is just right for me
