Diamond Auto SalesReviews
Diamond Auto Sales review
BEST AUTO DEALER IN ALAMEDA & ALL OF BAY AREA! My daughter recently purchased her first car & Alex made the experience so seamless! She was referred to Diamond Auto Sales by two friends who had bought their cars from Alex. They highly recommended him. I usually dread the car buying process but Alex completely changed my views. He was honest, friendly, thoughtful, funny, and very knowledgable. You can tell he takes pride in each car he has available. He didn't pressure my daughter at all and once she decided to buy it, everything went so smooth. I highly recommend Alex and Diamond Auto Sales! Thank you so much Alex! I will definetly be back when my son gets his license and when I finally decide to treat myself to a new car. In the meantime I will be recommending them to all my friends & family. Thank you Alex and team! We are so grateful.

This Dealer is a fraud. I went to see the car. It cant even start. One of the salespeople told me to run from the car. It smokes, and shakes, and the check engine light is on along with ever other light on the dash. Run Run

This experience has to be the best one for me. My sales person Zachary was the most people oriented, respectful, attentive and supportive. From the the delivery of the new car to the closing I felt very confortable.
2015 BMW X5 review
I've owned many vehicles from Porsches to Land Cruisers from sports cars to heavy duty trucks. I would have to rate this as one of my all time favorite vehicles. I've been driving legally for well over 40 years and have long ago lost count of the number of vehicles I've owned. Probably just over 40 cars by now.

I recently purchased my first BMW X5 turbo diesel. The sales, service dept., and especially the genius person Jonatan Escobar were terrific. Would definately purchase another car from them based on my buying experience.
2015 BMW X5 review
I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

BMW of Bel Air review
I bought a new vehicle at BMW of Bel Air, what a pleasant experience. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I showed up to the dealership, the vehicle was prepped and ready to go. Upon driving home I noticed a small tear in the passenger seat. This was on Monday and the dealer sent someone to my home Wednesday, no more tear. Huge shout out to Nana and Sam and all the folks in MD.

2012 BMW X5 review
2012 X5 35D. Over 180,000 Miles with very few repairs, I noticed some reviews on here seem to be for the gas version wich I wouldn't recommend due to repair /maintenance cost. I get around 24_25mpg with it plenty fast ,I also tow 2 motorcycles on a 3 rail bike trailer ,still get 22 mpg and you don't really even notice that the trailer and bikes are there, Comfy ,stylish , great torque fir a mid size suv. I plan to buy another and sell my current one around 200k.

2014 BMW X5 review
I love this car so much! As a traveling doctor, this vehicle has safely climb passes cover in snow and ice, held steady on black ice, muscled through torrential downpour rain and never faultered. Between the traction control, quick response, no accidents. And when its dry road, it handles like a sports car. All the while I am surrounded with an amazing audio system.

2014 BMW X5 review
This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. There's ample space, exceptional handling, and a range of engines from powerful to downright exhilarating (like the X5M).

2011 BMW X5 review
As a proud BMW owner since mid-eighties, to include owning a 2001 E-53 X5 while stationed overseas; the 2011 X5 50i is one of the best-looking and best performing BMW SUV we've owned (especially with sport activity package, adaptive drive, and dynamic stability control). In 2011, our newly purchased X5 E70 with MSRP of over $80K, was loaded with all BMW options offered, expect active cruise control. When we recently purchased a BMW X7, the BMW dealer trade offer was low, so we decided to keep our X5 with only 48.8K miles, my wife loves it. The only major repairs we have done so far are to replace the oil pan gasket (due to a small leak), and a couple of new batteries. The X5 still runs like new, and we plan to keep it as long as possible.

2011 BMW X5 review
This is the most underrated gems in the used diesel SUV market—but only if you’re the right kind of owner. Powered by the soon becoming legendary M57 inline-six diesel engine, this version of the E70 X5 combines German engineering with long-haul durability if treated right….and by treated right, I mean ideally maintained by someone who can turn a wrench and not the type of owner who wants to drop it off at the dealership for every noise or light. This vehicle is ideal for the hands-on car enthusiast who appreciates the mechanical integrity of a proper diesel engine and doesn’t mind putting in garage time to keep it in good shape. If you're someone who already loves BMWs and understands their quirks, this vehicle will feel like a rewarding project and a fantastic daily driver in one package. The M57 diesel engine is incredibly robust and becomes one of the best engines only with one huge caveat…the emissions equipment needs to be removed. In fact, I would not recommend owning this vehicle if you don’t plan or cannot do this in your state legally. Once deleted, this engine opens up and delivers a strong blend of torque, horse power and efficiency, making it an excellent tow vehicle. It's perfect for hauling a car trailer, camper, or family gear around without struggle. Stock, it’s already torquey, but with the deletes and a mild tune, this becomes a real beast without sacrificing reliability...and if given a race tune, this thing will hurt other drivers' feelings pulling from stop lights or on the freeway. The chassis overall is “decent” (Being said by a vintage BMW enthusiast, this is very much a compliment to today’s standards), but there are known maintenance pain points that a mechanically inclined owner should be aware of. If you plan to purchase from a used dealership or private seller, you’ll most likely need to do a suspension refresh including replacement of struts, bushings, arms etc.…possibly an engine refresh including valve cover seals, intake manifold cleaning and replacement of other various leaky seals…work on the cooling system including but not limited to replacing lines, hoses, main/expansion coolant tank as these are plastic and will crack and fail due to heat over time. There will be some normal interior wear including the finishes of center console buttons peeling off but are easily replaceable. Something important to note when purchasing is the interior sunroof shade condition, including whether it is completely operable and if there are any signs of sagging/peeling fabric. Any issue with the sunroof should reflect in the price as this item is very intricate, expensive, and difficult to work on. These aren’t dealbreakers though...just things to note when looking to purchase and if they’ve been covered in recent maintenance...if they haven't, plan for work that will inevitably need to be done. Again, don’t expect it to be hands-off, you’ve got to earn this one…But if you're up for the task, you’ll be rewarded with one of BMW’s most versatile platforms.

When shopping for my car, Hypiatia took all the guesswork out of the online car-buying process. She was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond whenever I had questions—and I had plenty of them! Her attention to detail was outstanding. The AutoDot team has been responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire experience. They truly go above and beyond for their clients. If you're in the market for a vehicle, I highly recommend giving them a look. You won’t be disappointed!
2016 BMW X5 review
This my first BMW x5 sdrive. I bought it used with 61,000 miles. Everything works perfect. I just had it serviced at BMW of Murrieta California and as expected it showed with no issues. Came out with flying colors! Poor

Atlanta Best Used Cars review
This was my best ever experience buying a used car. Pricing was transparent and the window sticker was available online. There was a good selection of the type of vehicle I wanted.
2017 BMW X5 review
I was hesitant to not get a Jeep because of our weather, I needed a vehicle that could devour the snow! I can now say my BMW X5 was the right purchase! More luxurious and better then any other vehicle I’ve ever driven. I’ve owned Mercedes, Jeep, and a few GM cars, and I only see BMW in my future!

2018 BMW X5 review
Before you buy any BMW older than 2018, check out the Isley V BMW lawsuit. You will find the V8 in all pre 2018 BMW's to be problematic for oil leaks and valve stem failures due to defective engine design and excessive heat. I have this X5 with the V8 and it's a wonderful car to drive and look at. It's my 5th BMW and by far the most reliable. Unfortunately, even with all the meticulous care, my car has experienced the oil leak and smoking exhaust, just like all the N63 & N63TU engines through 2018 will experience this problem and the cost to repair exceeds $20K from the dealer. If you find one that had the valve stem seals replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it's a great vehicle in many ways.

What a pleasant experience! Hypatia was great, the car was exactly (as far as I can tell) as advertised on Cars.com, the free Carfax analysis was very helpful for projecting reliability and assessing price to value, and ensuring maintenance was kept up. Definitely consider returning for future purchases! Glad to recommend them to others.
