Purchased 2 years ago. Drives like a rocketship. handles extremely well. no issues thus far, just regular maintenance. Interior is very well designed and very comfortable. The caro area is well designed as well.

I just bought a 540i from Josh Smith. Josh is a class act, a wealth of knowledge and a relationship builder vs. pushy sales person. Five stars for Josh. Working with Lea in the F&I office left a lot to be desired which is why I’m leaving four stars. She is standoffish, rude and not a pleasant person to work with. I was within a minute of pulling the plug on the deal and went to Motorwerks from dealing with her. I had to swing by the service department today to top off the coolant. Was in and out in five minutes.

I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

My wife and I worked with Amy Mattick to lease two new BMWs, a 2023 X5 and a 2023 M4. We went over the details of the X5 lease on a Zoom call and signed documents via DocuSign. Our car was delivered to our home and the delivery technician demonstrated elements of the operating system to us. He also programmed the garage door openers in the car. 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

We take trips to Cashiers/Highlands NC frequently. The drive is just over 5 hrs an it flies by quickly as the car is so comfortable. The peppy V8 has lots of power to pass quickly on the highway when necessary. Once we get into the mountains it feels great to switch from Eco mode to sports mode to attack those tight turns :)

Derek was a fantastic sales rep. Listened well and did all he could to provide us with the best value possible in line with our interests. I highly recommend this dealership!

Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

This is the best X5 I've ever owned. I've been using it for 2 years and this is my 4th BMW. It has never disappointed me, it's a fantastic SUV. I hope the next model will show the same success. I think the 3.0-liter engine is at its best.

I love my X5 !!! It meets all my needs. There is enough space for the dogs and the kids. It drives great, it is very comfortable. Big enough but not too big. It tows well.

Great car. Wish it didn't come with run flat tires which I believe lessens the quality of the ride, and they wear out quickly. Other than that, no real complaints. Car is truly the ultimate driving machine.

I traded in my awesome Jeep 2015 SRT. Some creature comforts the Jeep has the X5 doesn't: stereo controls at the fingertips behind steering wheel is main one. Plus the cruise control was also at the fingertips on the steering wheel. X5s not so. I have to take my eyes off the road to look for the button. The steering wheel on the X5 is too thin. The Jeeps was thick and felt great. But I love the split tailgate on the X5! Easier access and doubles up as a trunk.

I have this car for 26,000 miles now. This is the best X5 that I have ever owned. The new engine is great on the xdrive 40i. No need for the M60. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Handling is great. Tires and much better than on the previous generation. The ride is tight and comfortable. They did an awesome job. Hopefully, this car will last as long as my previous 2010 X5.

Purchased my fifth BMW, a 2025 X5 m40i. My last BMW was A 2024 X5 M60i so I have a little experience with both the V6 and V8 X5. The 8 cylinder is a beast and very fast, but the X5 is more of a luxury SUV than a performance car, so I opted for the Turbo Charged six cylinder. Plenty of power and about 10 mpg better gas mileage. I enjoy technology and have all the available packages. I find the tech reliable and easy to operate. I have 22” black wheels on my BMW, so I opted for the optional wheel and tire warranty as I’ve always had wheels fail by hitting pot holes, etc.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.
