2017 BMW X5 eDrive review
I've only owned the SAV for 1 month so I cannot comment on reliability, but it's been perfect so far. The electric capacity is just enough to get me through the day on short trips. The torque from the electric motor is surprising and powerful. I love the styling and features. Everything is ideal for hauling small loads in the city. Highway performance is decent as well. I average 73mpg daily.

When I say this was this best experience I have ever had, and it was Ayesha that made it just that!! We had been at a few places and (of course with my credit not so perfect) they kept giving us the run around after making us wait hours just to try to get more money. Although my attitude was just over it and I apologized to her after she still was straight forward, didn’t match my energy and gave me an opportunity to get in a car. Her professionalism and patience with me should definitely be rewarded and I appreciate her willingness to work with me and get me going. 2018 BMW X5 eDrive review
40e doesn't cost that much more than the 6 cylinder and I am averaging 45mpg. Nice federal tax rebate and I get 800 miles on a tank of gas. Plus parking spots reserved for charging are generally primo and available. This car is the same 0-60 as the 6cyl, but smoother and quicker off the line. I just use a standard outlet in my garage, so a full charge takes 7 hours over night. Public charging spots are 3 times as fast. I take the car on road trips without charging and it operates like a normal X5. No downside to getting the hybrid that I can tell.

2017 BMW X5 eDrive review
My kids call it “The Space Ship” - I thought the X5 wouldn’t be big enough for our family of 4 but it’s perfect! Plenty of room for my wife & I and our 2 kids 6 & 3 yrs old. I highly recommend this size for families of 3-4 absolutely!
