If you're like me, taking your car for service is right up there with going to the dentist. At BMW of Rochester Hills the team works above and beyond to make the process easy. I'm not an easy customer, I blow in and out of the service depart like it's a pit stop at Detroit Grand Prix. Tonight I realized I had forgotten to grab my spare house key. Within minutes they had contacted me back, circled the wagons and found a solution. Not only did they rise far beyond expectations, later that evening they proactively reached out to confirm I had made it home safely. That is customer service! They are truly committed to delivering top notch service and genuinely care that your needs are addressed. 2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
First EV and first BMW. Fun to drive and well made. Getting approximately 235 "mpg". The 250HP on e35 is plenty with instant torque and response. Rated comfort from front seats.

Spoke with Aaron Vanshanker on the phone to verify a mini advertised online. It was verified and I set up an appointment for the next day. Aaron was knowledgeable and showed us several of their cars. He did not pressure us but let us know he was available if we had any questions. We bought our car 2 days later. So we first went in on Saturday to look around and drove home our mini home the following Tuesday. They put a bow on our car and parked it in the showroom with our name on it. It was shiny and fantastic. They shared in my excitement and made me feel so happy. The car is awesome and I feel it was a good deal. It is early days but I am very satisfied so far - Aaron was professional and easy to deal with.
2025 BMW M440 review
Typical German fit, finish, and quality. The syspension does not have much difference between sport and comfort - that is the biggest complaint. Gas mileage is fantastic. The view/seating position is great and plenty of space.

2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I have the M50 version of the iV. I love the independence and drive of the electric car. It has super power, sometimes surprising do. It accelerates instantly and with tons of power. I also love the hatch back; lots of room in the trunk space. My issue with the car is primarily the fact that it really is a sorts car: quite low to the ground, which isn't the easiest at my age (71) to get into. Because of the demand for the car when I bought it, I had to make a decision without really test driving it. The i5 wasn't yet available, and I wanted electric but not the huge iX, so the iV was my only option for an electric at the time. The tires on the car are mounted on 19" rims, so the tire face is thin. This means that the tires puncture or tear quite easily, like just gently scraping a curb. I just bought a set of snow tires with 17" rims but all-season tires are not yet available (hope they will be soon!). This had added a significant unforeseen cost to the annual maintenance if the car. Good car if you aren't troubled by these issues but maybe pass on the iV of you are and head to the i5 or another manufacturers EV.

2019 BMW 430 Gran Coupe review
In the past we owned a 2013 328. Loved that car. Purchased this 2019 430i a week ago. It’s basically the exact same car inside as it was in 2013. No real complaints, if it works it works I guess. Car still very comfortable and stylish looking. Handles very well, good power with the 2.0t. Look forward to having this car for years to come

I have been dreading the car buying market because, for the last couple of years, the shadiness of dealers was taken to a whole new level. I had my name on a waitlist for a car, and it didn't seem like they were getting any anytime soon, so my husband told me I needed to make a decision. She was so positive, fun, helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. She made me feel like I was ordering their top car in the dealership, and was patient with all of my questions. She gave her honest opinion about color and build, and the experience that I had been dreading for months turned into a fun and happy one, and I built a car that I am super excited about, after two years of not being excited about any. We also met the manager, Steve Williams, who was just as friendly and patient. Mind you, it was past closing at this point, and neither of them were rushing us, even with knowing that we still had the Mercedes to look at. We left and went to the dealership down the road, and had the exact opposite experience. I won't get into details here, but it solidified my decision that BMW of Farmington Hills was the relationship I wanted to create. We called the next day and placed a deposit, and as promised, we placed our order with the exact build, and were immediately given a production number, where we could track our truck. I have been told by so many dealerships that you don't get to pick anymore, and you get whatever comes in, and I'm happy to say, that is not the case with this dealership. Everything was stress-free and positive, and I can't wait till my car comes in! I have been telling everyone about my experience, because it really was unlike any car experience I've ever had! They have a customer for life with me! And now my family and friends are all interested in a BMW.

2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I've had EVs since 2012. First was a Nissan Leaf, then a VW eGolf, then an Audi A3 etron. Those were all outstanding cars, but compared to all of those the i4 eDrive40 is in a different class. It's very responsive and quick. It feels extremely high-tech and plays Hans Zimmer iconic sounds. When we've gone on longer trips, consistently gets 280-300mi / 100% charge. Unless we're on a trip, I only charge it to 80% and it gets about 220-240mi on a charge. It's amazingly smooth and solid, and the interior is top notch. The M-Sport Pro package with custom color and leather made it at the top of the price range, so from a value perspective it seems excessive.

2024 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
As a BMW driver for decades (318i, 328i), I reluctantly switched to Tesla when the Model S became the first practical EV. I wanted to drive electric more than I wanted to be loyal to (IMHO) the best line of sedans and coupes on the planet. I loved the S, too, but after 12 years it was having problems, support was rotten, and it was time for a replacement. Fortunately, all the manufacturers have EVs now. Although I test drove several other makes, I was delighted to see that the BMW i4 was my favorite. When it started to look like tariffs were going to increase prices, I abbreviated my search and went for the Bimmer. By chance, the dealer had a 2024 shop loaner available with low mileage and a lower price than a brand new 2025 so I leased it. (Incidentally, it was less expensive in absolute dollars than the Model S was in 2012!) I'm glad I "pulled the trigger" when I did and I love the car. Handling is excellent. It "feels like" a BMW despite slightly lighter steering than my last 328. It's feature-rich and I'm still learning the ancillary controls. I'm OK with CarPlay although Tesla's own infotainment system is better. The driver assist is good and automatic stop/start in heavy traffic is a joy although I still prefer steering myself under better conditions. I think most BMW drivers will feel likewise. I haven't used self-parking other than a demo in the dealer's lot but I promise to try it. I don't expect to need a lot of service - it's an EV - but at least BMW takes phone calls! The cell phone app is better than Tesla's and it's NOT the only way to schedule service. My only real objection is the location of the charge port at right-rear which will make it awkward to use short-corded Tesla Superchargers even once BMW concludes a deal with Tesla. The i4 has more "hard" controls - which I prefer for eyes-on-the-road driving - than Model S but its voice recognition commands are more limited. Its navigator has the same voice as Model S but gives more frequent bum steers. All in all, I'm very glad I made the switch. And I didn't give money to the Little Dictator who works for the Big Dictator!

2016 BMW 328 Gran Turismo review
I really enjoy the car almost as much as the service! The reason is the service has been flawless so far! We had an issue with one of the sensors where it would give us a drivetrain error and cut the power to 40mph! We found out that there’s a bug that triggers once you hit 1/8 of fuel left it happened ever time and there’s no fix.

2026 BMW M440 review
Over the years I've heard a great deal of the outstanding driving experience and fabulious features of the BMW cars. Now that I have purchased a 2026 M440X I understand their praise. The slogan " The Ultimate Driving Experience" is not just an advertising gimmick. I'm still learning the many, many cool features of my car even after the excellent tutorial by the Dealership and reading the manual. In short, I'm sold on Germain Engineered cars and am now part of the BMW family. Too bad US car manufacturers don't make this quality of car. My opinion, is that it the cost would be outside the reach of most Americans.

My husband and I recently purchased our sixth car from Capital Auto Sales. I know that the term, "used car salesman", has typically been an insult. Joseph and his crew are the exception to this rule. We have always had an amazing experience with them. Yesterday, when my husband and I were in there, Darius helped us out. He got us an incredible deal on an incredible car that matched every qualification we wanted. If you go in there and they don't have what you want, they are eager and happy to look for what you want at the auctions that they go to. My husband and I like to pay cash for our cars when we get our tax returns in the spring. However, Joseph and his staff are wonderful at financing and finding you a monthly payments that works for your budget. If you are looking for a used car, they should definitely be your first stop. Their honesty and integrity impresses me every time I'm there. We have been getting cars from them for at least a decade and plan to continue for at least another one.
2015 BMW 535 Gran Turismo review
We love this car, we have a 2003 BMW 325 wagon, wife wanted something bigger that sat higher. We already had a truck, so X5 was too big but X3 was too small. Interior is great, I call it the luxo-barge. Seats are super comfortable, interior layout is (typical BMW) great, plenty of room, it's great for an 8+ hour drive or long days in the car (done both). The split hatch/trunklid is really handy, I don't know why some of the early reviewers didn't like it. It is taller, heavier than a sedan and has airbag springs in the rear and you notice that in the handling, but it it can still tell it's a BMW, so even with the extra weight and height, it still handles a lot better than non-BMW sedans. The N55 (six cylinder) has plenty of power (the car can get out of it's own way) and makes it fun to drive. The 8 cylinder would have been awesome but one in our price and mileage range wasn't available. The icing on the cake - people either like this car (some) or they hate it (more) so the resale on them isn't good. The one we got was a lease return, so it was regularly maintained and low mileage and we ended up with a $72,000 MSRP car for less than half that. Maintenance hasn't been bad, moonroof cover broke, got it covered under warranty and I'm about to replace a thermostat, water pump (proactive while I'm changing the thermostat) and parking brake module. If you've got older BMWs, you'll have to get new tools (lots of external Torx) and Bentley's doesn't publish manuals for them. Still pretty straightforward maintenance, but the parts are expensive, even through Pelican Parts. Oh, only bad thing is the run flat tires - we've been through two full sets in about 3 years. They handle like crap and the rears wear heavily on the inside, resulting in two tire failures while driving, luckily the car still handled well. The wear isn't obvious unless you specifically look on that inside rounded edge, not where you would normally expect to find heavy wear. I would recommend standard tires, a can of fix-a-flat and an air pump (wife wants the run flats in case she's alone or I would change to the standard tires).

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.
