I just bought a 2000 Jaguar XKR convertible from Larry at Hiline Motors in Sanatoga Pa. I've been looking for one of these cars for a while but realized that many used ones would have various problems which would be expensive to fix. After reading Larry's reviews I was convinced I would get the best car at the best price and not have to worry about dealing with costly problems in the future. Larry was easy to deal with. He and his mechanic fixed all of the common problems that these cars shared. The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

I’ve had this 2009 sport wagon since 2016. Bought it with 68k miles. It’s now at 118k miles. Plan on $1500-$2000/year for maintenance and I think it will easily go 200k miles. Fast enough, good handling, doesn’t attract police. My Best Buy.
