After many incredible purchases from this dealership, this is our first custom build. From the start of the build Ryan was awesome assisting us with all the options. Took deposit and then we waited. Due to supply chain issues we were told it may take over a year. We understood and were fine with that. His communication during that time was top notch. The call came that our car would be in. Could not wait and delivery was no different. No games no hidden fees. He took his time and explained everything. You can tell he loves the product and represents the brand well. Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

I have had three BMWs, all with great reliability and high satisfaction, but this is my first BMW SUV. After 5 weeks of ownership, my 2024 X3 is on its way to becoming my all-time favorite. The handling is great, the safety features superb, and the comfort and luxury appearance have surpassed my expectations. We are so happy with this car that my husband is talking about getting one for himself, and he is an Audi and LandRover fan. BMW, thank you for your continued dedication to quality and reliability.

Just bought a new car today at Car Max, and actually traded in my car that I previously bought from Car Max 2 years ago. I worked with Nick, who was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! I had talked to him yesterday while getting my car appraised and when we tried to set an appointment for me to come back to look at a car, we realized we worked almost the exact same hours. Nick so kindly offered to stay late so I could come at a time convenient to me. He did everything he could to make my experience as great as it could be, and he truly did an awesome job! He even ended up staying 3 hours after his shift was supposed to end, but he was so cheerful, you never would have known! Anyone looking for a car, definitely see Nick @ Car Max! He's not "just another car salesman" .. he's honest and helpful and gives great customer service!

I have this car for 26,000 miles now. This is the best X5 that I have ever owned. The new engine is great on the xdrive 40i. No need for the M60. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Handling is great. Tires and much better than on the previous generation. The ride is tight and comfortable. They did an awesome job. Hopefully, this car will last as long as my previous 2010 X5.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! They reached out right away after my online inquiry into the '17 Lexus NX. Unfortunately there was no delivery service and this would be costly from Ft. Meyers to Las Cruces, NM. Nonetheless the rep was very forthright with the car info and felt no hard selling on their end. Always appreciated when your not there in person to make personal contact.

Before you buy any BMW older than 2018, check out the Isley V BMW lawsuit. You will find the V8 in all pre 2018 BMW's to be problematic for oil leaks and valve stem failures due to defective engine design and excessive heat. I have this X5 with the V8 and it's a wonderful car to drive and look at. It's my 5th BMW and by far the most reliable. Unfortunately, even with all the meticulous care, my car has experienced the oil leak and smoking exhaust, just like all the N63 & N63TU engines through 2018 will experience this problem and the cost to repair exceeds $20K from the dealer. If you find one that had the valve stem seals replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it's a great vehicle in many ways.

Recently, I experienced the unfortunate event of getting a flat tire while traveling with my senior citizen mother and two Chihuahuas. We were nearing the end of a four-hour journey to visit my college student daughter. The tire had a tear in the sidewall. Although I had a spare tire, it had a “plug” in it, and I didn’t have the necessary tools to change the tire because they had been removed from my vehicle. It was around 5:15 p.m. on a Friday night. My first call was to AAA, but I was informed that I needed to text them due to an extended wait time. I then called Land Rover Roadside Assistance, where the agent explained that a tow truck driver could assist me in about two hours. They advised me to leave my vehicle where it was and put the key in the glovebox. However, given the situation, sitting by the highway for two hours was not an option. I next called Uber, but they informed me of their no-dog in cars policy. My final call was to Land Rover Fort Myers on S. Tamiami Trail. A very pleasant receptionist answered, and I explained my situation. She asked me to hold on, and then Albert Sammelian picked up the call. He mentioned that the porters had already finished for the day, but he would find someone to help me. Albert drove to my location with Paul Vaccari and brought me a loaner vehicle. I was genuinely amazed that they went out of their way to assist us in such difficult circumstances. It was Friday evening, late, and they probably had better things to do after a long day. Their kindness and helpfulness exceeded my expectations, and they truly went above and beyond in helping a customer. Did I mention that my car was also repaired in less than 24 hours? This is an amazing dealership with remarkable people.

Great experience from beginning to end, I contacted them online and went in person to complete the deal and everything went smoothly. Our salesman Nero was great and so was their finance team. I buy cars often and we were very happy with our results, no last minute fees and their process was straightforward and easy. Won?t hesitate to use them again on my next purchase. They also had a great selection of cars, not just Mercedes.

Prior to my purchasing a 2024 BMW X5 plug in hybrid, I had both an electric and gas powered cars due to a fear of traveling long distances with an electric vehicle. I researched both traditional hybrid and plug in hybrid coming to conclusion that plug in was perfect for my needs. BMW X5 e had the longest range so I decided to purchase one a month ago. I have driven the car approximately 900 miles on one and a half tank of gas and several nightly charges. The quality of the car is exceptional and I love the performance. I would highly recommend this car.

This service was my first one since buying my Tucson in Ct. I recently moved to Fort Myers. The service advisor (David Sanchez) was very patient, courteous and he answered all my questions.The service was fast, and considering I took it at 4:15pm. Everything was explained to me and I was out in 45min.

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.
