I had a wonderful experinece shopping for a used car at Carmax in Torrance. The entire staf was helpful and kind. The salesman made the process very easy.

The Encore offers a very quiet and smooth ride. It has the get up and go when needed and handles really well. Drivers seating position is great for tall or short people but the seats aren't geared towards (wide) people, no disrespect intended. The car isn't very wide and the interior shows it. Driver and front passenger must share the one armrest on the driver's seat. A/C & heating knobs are not illuminated makes them hard to see at night. Back seat room is OK. Storage area good for groceries but not much else unless you raise the rear seat and lower the seat back. Doing this we were able to get a new mower in the box inside without any problem. Almost 30,000 miles with only regular oil changes and tire rotations. No mechanical issues at all! One of the best cars we have owned. Not to mention we bought it new while offered at $10000 of of list price!

My Rendezvous is 21 yrs old … the plan was to sell after 10yrs but this vehicle looked and road like new … After 21 yrs no rust … original exhaust engine tranny … 110cu ft of cargo space no suv today can match … and gets a easy 26mpg… 115k hard city miles and original spark plugs! Maybe I will wait for the electric version …

The car is beautiful inside. The seats are comfortable. I have a heated steering wheel and seated seats. The car has an automatic starter. I put high test in engine and the pick up is great. I put gas in the tank almost every two weeks. I love the car and would highly recommend it. Best car I ever drove.

I want to start off with the compassion this place has for the customers. I never once felt pressured for anything when being here and talking with the sales reps. I had the pleasure of doing business with Rami. He took things at my pace, was very understanding and I felt tried his hardest to get me into the car I so desperately wanted. He kept me updated on the car and walked me through each step making sure I was comfortable and answering my questions to reassure me of what was going on. Then came the gorgeous Vanessa who emailed me during the week to make sure my dream car was still available. When I went into the dealership she introduced herself and sat to talk to me even though I was working with Rami. She was very nice and also made my experience that much better. She honestly cared and I could tell by how passionately she spoke to me and could see it in her eyes. Last came Argenis who tried his hardest to get me the best deal I could handle. I have not had any problems with my Encore. I drove it to Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Kentucky and Arkansas and have not had any problems with it at all. I have had the standard maintenance on it, Radiator Flush, Oil changes and put a new battery on it in 2022. The battery it came with lasted 6 years, can't complain about that. And I just put a set of tires on it too. I am very happy with this model and would recomend it anyone looking for a GREAT SUV.

My wife and I are very pleased with our 2024 Encore GX purchased used w/ only 2500 mi on the clock. The Encore GX is one of the current Buick lineup of 3 small SUVs for about $25k; I suspect these hidden gems are unknown to many Americans. Unfortunately Buick's focus on China has resulted in the Buick brand being all but forgotten in the US. The NHTSA has given a ***** Overall Safety Rating to the 2024 GX. I have one negative with the Encore -- I'm 6'-1" and the Encore is small for me. Some call the cabin "surprisingly roomy" for a sub-compact suv. Truth be said IT'S JUST SMALL. Likes * 1.2L Turbo engine surprisingly strong in city driving * Entry-level luxury at a moderate price * Fun to drive (some call it boring) * Lots and lots and ... of safety features * Excellent mileage (30+ mpg) for an ICE SUV * Sits up high (as a SUV should!) due to 18" wheels * Quiet cabin due to Buick's QuietTuning technology * Heated seats, steering wheel, outside mirrors * Physical buttons/knobs for radio, climate controls -great * Power hatch/liftgate w/ kick plate - very handy * Traction & Stability control Dislikes * 1.2L Turbo engine is somewhat challenged on the highway * Design same-same as every other small SUV on the road * Digital Speedo and NO Tach; I prefer the real thing * Seats are narrow, hard and uncomfortable on long trips * Road noise is worse than expected for a Buick * Small cargo area w/o rear seat backs down * Insufficient legroom in back seats * Insufficient rear headroom for tall persons * AM/FM/Satellite radio difficult to program * VERY sensitive brakes and accelerator

I bought this used with 26,000 miles in the spring of 2024. I love the styling, interior, and value. My only complaint is that the angle of the infotainment display can make it difficult to see due to reflections, especially in bright sunlight. I love the AWD option, it adds to stability - even in dry conditions. The remote start is handy in cold weather since I now live in an apartment and no longer have a garage. Performance with the optional engine is more than adequate.

I have driven my 2025 Buick Enclave Sport Touring almost 9k miles and I am beyond happy with the car. The car is very smooth, comfortable, beautiful and economical. I do both city and freeway driving and so far, my MPG average is over 29 miles, getting about 580+ miles to a tank of gas! My 2025 Enclave drives so much better than the SUV I used to drive that had a V-6 engine and gets over 10 miles more per gallon of gas, on average. I have more than enough room when transporting family members and/or my (3) dogs. Everyone enjoys being a passenger in my Enclave.

I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.

I had the pleasure and great fortune to work with Michael Tierney at Banks Chevrolet-Cadillac in Concord, NH to purchase my new Buick Envision on Saturday.
