2020 Ford Transit Connect review
Bought a brand new in 2019 Transit Connect, since then we only had to change the brakes and oil !!!! Love this van. Works fine for our company needs. The money that we saved on gas alone is priceless (27/28 MPG). I decided to write this now because this is the only Ford product that didn't disappoint us. Hopefully they start making this work horse again soon.

I had never purchased from Jim O'Neil before. A few of my favorite people in the auto dealer industry moved there. Jim O'Neil gained a few of the best and I would put this dealership at the top in the area for it. When we purchased the vehicle it was obvious they went through and did an inspection, and fixed anything that needed fixing. Used cars come in all shapes, sizes, and conditions. And to see everything on the service record that they fixed, was a sign of attention to detail that many other dealerships lack. That was refreshing to see, and moved my confidence level up in this dealership. The sales people in there are great. Financing team is awesome. Over all it was a great experience. Ive dealt with Neil and Jay in there for years. And have bought quite a few vehicles from them. I can not elaborate enough on how easy the car buying experience is with them. Its smooth and painless, as it should be. They answer any questions you have with honesty and integrity. Neil himself is very knowledgeable with cars. So I trust the answers he gives me. And Jay is one of the best finance guys around, and is extremely knowledgeable as well. If you're looking for a good place to pick up a new whip I suggest checking out Jim O'Neil. I know we glad we did, they gained a repeat customer!

2014 Ford Transit Connect review
I've owned a 2010 Transit Connect since 2014 and it has been the best vehicle I've owned. I use it for work and haul a lot of movie production gear in it. Most of the time it stays half full and I drive it that way. It's been reliable and only needed standard maintenance, except for the transmission. I knew the transmission was a weak link when I bought it at 94,000 mis. It bit the dust at 120,000 mis. I had a rebuilt one installed and was assured that it'll be good for another 120,000 mis. I'm at 160,000 and it is still going strong.

2001 Chevrolet Express 1500 review
I have a 2001 Chevy Express van. 5.7 v8. Great van and have only had to do minor repairs. I did have to replace the fuel sensor and EGR sensor. I have had this van for years and have probably spent $1200 to 1600 in repairs including brakes, and to find a miss in it when running. The miss was found in a wire cluster inside a wiring tube by the oil dip stick tube that had been rubbing against something and was fixed by repairing the wire. This cost me $300 which was a very minor but costly fix. Otherwise it is a great van with over 200k and still going strong. I change oil and filter at 5k and flush coolant every 3-4 years, and put new sreering , brake and tranny fluid every 40k. My friend has a deisel van but the maintenance costs as simple as an oil change and glow plugs are way higher than my maintenance costs. He gets more MPG but his fuel is a dollar a gallon higher, so all needs to be taken into consideration when fuel milage is only a small part of costs of operating a vehicle. Plus the great flexability and use of owning a large van that can haul and tow larger weight with no monthly payments and lower insurance costs. Fuel milage is not a reason to pass on one of these great vans.
