DeFouw replaced the bleeder valve at no cost, since it was a recall, but did not go further to check the brake system. When I brought it back in to say it was not fixed they told me that the booster pump was bad but that it had to be ordered from Tennessee, which would take a week. This delay, which could have been fixed by ordering it the first time I came in, is now costing me an additional $600 to rent a car for our vacation, in addition to the $750 it is costing me to replace the booster pump. I am not happy that this has happened. The reason I brought it in the first time was so that it would be ready for vacation. Maybe there was no way to avoid this problem, but it sure looks like it could have been avoided.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox review
I previously owned a Chevy Trax, which was fine when I received the vehicle. The blessing it was, sustained me for what was pertinent; now, I have been blessed with more responsibility; said responsibility warrants a bigger vehicle. This vehicle is perfect for my family of four; my mother's wheelchair fits perfectly in the trunk, and there's still room for my nine year old daughter, my mother, and my sister. Dana Kuntz was great! Great at doing the soft sell. When I first contacted her the dealership didn't have the vehicle I wanted but she listened to me and the features we were looking for in a vehicle. They didn't have a vehicle similar to what I wanted when I called. A couple of days later and she called back someone just brought in a used vehicle that met my requirements, but wasn't the exact vehicle I asked about. Turned out it was a better deal than I expected. The vehicle had more features than I asked for and was in the ballpark price wise. She kept engaged but never over sold what she was offering and did not call me 100 times to see if I made up my mind. The finance staff was polite. I recommend giving Dana a call next time you buy a car. She may not have it in stock but my guess being patient can pay off. She will find the right car/ truck for you.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox review
I've had my fwd lt for a few months now. Great car. At first I thought it was a bit underpowered, but it more than makes up for it in fuel economy. Clean interior, not too many buttons and the standard screen is small but really intuitive to use. Overall an excellent vehicle that fully meets my needs
