The truck has power with the 6.6L diesel V8 backed by the best transmission in the auto industry (Allison). My truck is only a two wheel drive but you?d never know with the way it sits. I would buy another one of these trucks in a heartbeat.

I paid virtually nothing for a beat up dented old horse hauler. I have pounded this truck, towed, hauled and moved everything. At over 200,000 hard miles, the engine finally quit. I love my dented beat up Chevy so much, I bought a new engine and will continue to use it for a long time! It's been one of the best trucks I've ever owned!

Stopped in to check out a 99 Vette. Saw an ad online-wife and i just really wanted to check out the color, as we hadn't seen a pewter color up close. So decided to make the drive, expecting a slew of slimy off market used car salesman to try and hard sell us. WOW-totally wrong. Let my wife and i both take the vette out for a test drive. When we came back with the car, we told him that we really wanted a stick instead of an automatic, he was totally polite and no pressure. think i would actually come back if they had the right vette at the right price (and i am a total for sale by owner kind of guy, so this says a lot!) VERY pleasant experience. Would recommend for sure. Gene was great :)

Its a great truck don't get me wrong. There is plenty of power, but I kind of regret not getting something newer. The truck is very dated interior wise.

This truck worked really good, however since it's a working truck and I currently don't work it's consuming money for gasoline which begins to cause trouble. However, if you're looking for a heavy-duty working truck then this works out well, you can carry heavy cargo and you wouldn't even feel it. Overall it's a good truck to use.

Purchased my 2002 extended cab 4 x 4 2500 HD new in 2002, it now has just over 200,000 miles and has the 8.1 L gas motor I’ve never even had to put brakes on it i.e. absolutely love this truck are use mobile one synthetic oil and it’s never giving me any trouble, if I had it to do over again the only thing I would do different is purchase a crew cab instead of the extended cab this is definitely the best I have ever owned and I have been the owner of many As I am 74 years young

I like the exterior design & styling. Leather seats are very comfortable with power seats in the front and two driver memory for driver seat. Handles very well for the year model. I would recommend the classic body style models.

I went in for an oil change. It was done quickly and my service advisor answered all of my questions. They found a small issue that need to be fixed while they were doing the oil change He gave me the information and explained the need and cost. After I approved the additional work, he quickly made the adjust to my work order and got it done. Will continue to derive my vehicles at Bob Howard!

This was my first new Truck and for a 2500 HD had a great ride yet empty and still could haul 4000 lbs in the bed or tow 12,000 lbs. The 6 passenger crew cab fit the whole family even with 2 car seats. 4wd on the fly is great in sand, snow and mud.

This truck suited my family of 4 soon to be family of 5 which is the only reason I'm getting rid of it as it will be fairly cramped with 3 car seats in the back bench seat. It's very comfortable the drive is very smooth the only issue I had was a leaking fuel filter which was an extremely easy fix. And the 2003 was the only year chevy did this body/headlight design. I would highly recommend this truck to anyone, yet also be careful who you're buying from like any vehicle they take routine maintenance and if it's not done properly they will fall apart around you. I have seen far too many people fall victim to this so make sure you get a full report and if you don't know what your looking at take it straight to someone who does before purchasing.
