2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!

It was my old cars time to go (Gloria) at work my coworker brought up CarMax as he just got a new pickup truck from them. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a viewing Wednesday the 6th. I had to keep adding water to my car so she can take us there. I was nervous as this was my first time purchasing a car. IT WAS THE CAR IVE BEEN WANTING :) and Elijah Combs was our representative. He had great hospitality, customer service skills, had an amazing slime and over all made the experience of our first time comfortable and exciting!! ( I definitely had that anxiety lol) no tricks, no games. He helped us with getting set up with full coverage insurance and making sure we get our registration. I am very grateful to have had this thrilling experience and he was just as excited for us as we were. I definitely recommend him and the CarMax crew to any one whom is looking to get a new car. I've been getting all of the routine service on my 2016 Jeep Patriot done here since I bought it new (from a different dealership in a distant city) and have never been disappointed. Staff have all been great and have never had any issues. Free coffee while waiting and a decent waiting room too. They even have a cell phone charger in the waiting room, which I had to make use of on my most recent visit.

2018 Chrysler Pacifica review

2025 Chrysler Pacifica review
Nice vehicle. We purchased new...price was one reason why compared to other vans. Our old vehicle was a Town & Country, this vehicle has some pleasant surprises. Better power and a better ride. Handling & response are very good, not clumsy like some vans. Great safety features throughout the vehicle. Things I don't like... the power rear side flare windows are gone and there isn't as much storage . In order to get better storage, you have to upgrade to higher end models. No overhead storage panel in some models. I certainly don't like the fact that there is no spare tire anymore but I know that the car industry is moving that way, which is just a cost saving measure for them. Door protection side strips have disappeared - they used to just be a standard item but now, are an "option", which is pretty lame. Roof pillars tend to cause more obstruction in my view as I'm driving but the Pacifica has alert safety features that are helpful. Information screen is pretty easy on Chrysler. Overall, its a nice vehicle.
