Service department is excellent! We purchased a vehicle from a Ford dealership in Bloomington. Upon driving off the lot, we felt brakes felt funny. We immediately turned around. The dealership said they could not look at it for two weeks. Problem was we were driving it out to CA to my son, active duty military. Dealership was aware. So, I called Forest Lake Ford, this was on a Friday. Explained the situation. Upon hearing my son was active duty, we were leaving the next day, they told us to bring it in. They fit us in! Even gave me a flower! THEY took the time, THEY cared! I now take my personal Ford Edge to them! Top notch!!

1991 Chevrolet Corvette review
My 91 has just over 100k miles and still performs great. I’ve owned multiple domestic sports/muscle/pony cars and this one is my favorite. The L98 is very strong and reliable, 6-speed manual is very smooth shifting and from a rolling start, I’ll put it against anything just for the fun of it. The interior is very user friendly with all controls within comfortable reach, minimal to none squeaks and rattles. The heat blows perfectly on your knees/thighs on a cold morning when set to floor, instead of just your feet getting too hot as with anything else. I’d drive this car anywhere and not worry about getting back home.

2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse review
Still turning heads after nearly 20 years. People often ask if I would sell it even though it's not for sale. The automated convertible top is easy (I have had others that were not), and low profile wheels are stylish and finding parking ANYWHERE is a breeze. My Toyota convertible was a 2-seater and having a back seat is amazingly convenient for a girls night out or just cruising. This car loves the sunshine but it has also seen some snow with no issues. Fun, fast, reliable and great gas mileage? This is the best car I've ever owned.

1995 Chevrolet Camaro review
A 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 convertible is always an attractive idea. its a loaded, low mileage V8 droptop for such an affordable price, you'll realize this slick red machine is irresistible. Believe it or not, but the '95 Camaro has passed the quarter-century mark. That means it's eligible for classic car insurance and vintage car plates in many states. So, this is truly a modern classic. And because this Camaro has averaged less than 4,600 miles annually, it doesn't have the look of a daily commuter. The sharply pointed nose, sleek rounded side panel, and well-integrated rear spoiler are an awesome package, especially when finished in a vibrant red. The black convertible top looks nice against the black accents around the body. The Z28 emblems are original against the Emerald Green allowing the secrets of sole and contents. The whole car has the look of a well-respected machine, right down to the factory 16-inch alloys. In fact, the only addition we can recognize are the bright exhaust tips out back, and they just remind everyone why we love a good Z/28.

When I asked the cashier what some of the inspection colors meant, she had no idea and wasn't interested in helping me find out either. Other than that everything was wonderful, I got my oil changed.

Typical German fit, finish, and quality. The syspension does not have much difference between sport and comfort - that is the biggest complaint. Gas mileage is fantastic. The view/seating position is great and plenty of space.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. We were there for quite some time because there were more Mazda CX-5s to choose from than we anticipated but eventually we got it narrowed down to one we loved. We had a few issues with payment (our fault, not the dealer's) and Joe and his manager (I think his name was Mustafa) were very accommodating and helped us work out a solution. Plus because of our indecisiveness we ended up being there over an hour after closing, they let us stay to finish up because we had traveled a few hours to get there, and again they were very accommodating and patient with us. I honestly don't think I could have had a better experience.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Thank you to Kirk, Kevin, J.C. and Country Chevrolet. My wife and I are enjoying this wonderful dream car thanks to the efforts of a great Chevy team.

2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I purchased this car to have a small convertible for pleasure use and it's perfect for my needs. The Soul Red color is beautiful. I am a big guy but after a little maneuvering of my body to enter it, I feel very comfortable in it. It's a 6 speed manual with a short but smooth shift knob. Lots of extras and features and still have to learn to navigate some of them. It has enough power for my needs and great gas mileage. Only wish it had automatic climate control and a little less road noise on the highway. The lane departure alert is very sensitive and irritating but is a good trade off for safety. It needs a cabin trunk release knob and if it has one, I can't find it. I would prefer leather seats and Bose radio system but my cloth seats are comfortable with excellent quality fabric and the 6 speaker radio is acceptable to someone who's not an audiophile. Lastly, would love automatic headlight dimmers so I don't blind oncoming drivers at night! Overall, I now know why it is so highly rated and I love it already.
