We recently purchased a used Jeep Wagoneer from Heller Ford in El Paso, IL, and the entire experience was nothing short of fantastic. We live about an hour and a half away, but Onie made the process incredibly easy by handling everything over the phone ahead of time. By the time we arrived, all that was left was a quick test drive and a bit of paperwork—start to finish, we were in and out of the dealership in around 30 minutes! A couple of days after taking the vehicle home, a mechanical issue popped up. Onie was immediately responsive and had a loaner vehicle arranged and delivered to us the very next day. The service department didn’t miss a beat either—they had the necessary repairs completed quickly and efficiently, making sure we had our Wagoneer back just in time for a planned family vacation. We wanted to buy a car that was safe and dependable for our teen. After getting the hard sell and classic car salesman experience at several other dealers, we were surprised by the treatment we got from Jonathan at O’Brien. He was respectful and polite and put no pressure on us. After several weeks of comparisons and discussions, we made a decision and worked with Jonathan to purchase a car. There was no pressure and the negotiations were fair and polite. We appreciated the was they were able to make car buying a good experience and than my teen was able to see how the process works.

My Ioniq 6 is the base SE model with front wheel drive only. This model has all the bells and whistles you need and the more expensive models have a number of cosmetic additions. Stylishly this car is a major improvement over earlier Hyundai models. There is some disagreement over the rear spoiler. Personally, I like the light show in the spoiler although I seldom see it since I'm driving. The seams on the car are a good tight fit with the possible exception of the front hood. The front trunk, or "funk," is useless which is a little hard to explain. If you look under it you notice a fairly empty space with a lot of wires. Reports are that the back trunk is small but I think the problem is its height and not depth. This is a slightly larger car than the Prius. The back seat has an impressive amount of room and if you lay down those seats you have quite a lot of trunk space but no back seat passengers. Performance is very good. In fact, the acceleration is astounding laying to rest the myth that EVs take a lot of time to accelerate. The electric motor apparently provides the same amount of torque at any speed unlike a gas engine. The amount of regenerative breaking is adjustable from the paddles on the steering wheel. I keep it at the highest setting and the car will break slightly when you take your foot off the accelerator. This takes some getting used to if you use this setting. Also, the car will keep moving slowly so you eventually have to break. At times the wheel seems to have a mind of its own. On a bumpy road with many turns the wheel seems to want to go where I don't. This brings me to an interesting feature. On cruise control with the lane keep assist and that line showing between the lanes on the monitor (see owners manual) the car us essentially self-driving as long as it can read the lane lines, You can take your hands off the steering wheel but if you do the car will reprimand you tell you to hold the wheel. The steering wheel is large and blocks the information on the lower part of the monitor. The blind spot monitor is very good and it will warn you on the exterior mirrors and the monitor in front of you. If a collision is possible the wheel will vibrate. The radar seems more sensitive than my other car so you get warning even when you still have plenty of room. The GPS has a lot of information, but I found it off by miles on certain sites. This car is very quiet. Much quieter than my plug-in hybrid. There is a slight whirring noise on acceleration and deceleration. When I drive near a pedestrian they seem surprised that a car is near them so be careful. I charged the car on a level 2 charger from 10% to 100% in 7 hours which I consider to be very good. The range is about 280 miles depending on temperature and type of driving. The car will notify you when the charge is down to 20% and it will tell you where the charge stations are. I would like to have a rear window wiper but this seems to have been eliminated on most cars. The rear defrost has done a good job of clearing this window so far. Visibility all around is very good. I would like it if the radio and past trip presets had a larger number visible. My other car goes up to 100. I'm not technically savvy and it will take me time to learn how to use all the features on this car. The owner's manual is large. One thing which may or may not be an issue is that I had difficulty turning the car off once. It appears that if you leave your foot on the break when turning it off the car may be getting a mixed signal to start and stop. Placing it in park first and taking your foot off the break seems to solve this. Finally, I notice in reviews on this site that the major negative response is that people think this car is expensive for what you get. I would expect to pay in the high $40,000 for an EV loaded with these features. I paid less than $10,000 under that.

I did not end up purchasing a car with this dealership however I did not because of the honesty of the dealership. The dealer fully disclosed prior damage the vehicle had and the repairs. It was my decision to not purchase because of the damage.

Pickup is quick. Looks amazing. Maintenance and maintenance cost is negligible. For my 40K mile service done at Ford dealer my bill was $0! You read the right. Charges well and works. Heated seats and heated steering wheel in MI weather is a blessing. I have it set where it heats up the cabin & conditions the battery on its own at my departure time everyday. It is also set up, where it doesnt charge at the time when my electric company charges a premium on electricity. No issues what so ever. I love the car.

I love my new Hummer, I have had it 2 weeks now and it’s an Amazing vehicle. Looks great and is a lot of fun to drive. I love that I can take the 4 tops off and it’s a convertible suv. So far so good with no problems. It charges overnight and is ready to go. I would highly recommend.

The car is a floating couch it’s so comfy! The tech is so cool and the big screen gets compliments all the time. Once you get use to its little quirks it’s an awesome car. I wish it charged a little quicker had better speakers and was a little more powerful but those three are fair trade offs for the value and comfort. Looks super cool too my nephew calls it a space car haha.. Good job Chevy!

Luckily, I stumbled across a $7500 instant rebate along with a $5000 above trade-in value for my car. I purchased the SEL trim with leather, adaptive cruise, lane assist, power driver seat, etc. No sun roof, which I did not want. 19" tires for a little better mileage. I am absolutely impressed with this car and feel very safe on winter roads (AWD), especially in winter mode. I find no fault other than it lacks a rear windshield wiper, Which I would prefer to have. Extremely quiet and comfortable ride.

Very responsive and comfortable car. You feel on top of the world. The features are great. The car rides as if it knows what you want to do. The massage chair is so worth it when you are in traffic or have long commute. This car is made for people who enjoy luxury but don’t want to pay for the high gas.

My Ford Lightning is more than a truck. It provides all the options of truck functions at a fraction of the cost when compared to combustion vehicles. Being an electric vehicle, it can also power my home during power outages. This is huge as I reside on the coast and am prone to storms.

Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Multiply that by 3 cars and a full year, and the numbers quickly add up. This is my first truck and first EV, 2 in 1 for me. Pros: - Love the very smooth ride. Barely feel road imperfections. Very steady and stable on inner streets, highways, and around corners. - Acceleration is amazing for a large truck. - Big and comfy interior, front and back seats. Cloth trim and not leather. Plenty of storage all around, including under the back seats. Front trunk. Working table comes out of the right arm rest. - Basic but good infotainment system. Android auto works without connecting USB. Excellent. - Ford app is useful and basic for range, tire pressure, charging stations, and battery and remote car start and prewarming, Cons: - XLT: No front parking sensors. I would have expected a large truck to have them to help with parking. - Heated front seats but not the steering wheel seems cheap omission. - The arm rest compartment doesn't stay up and wants to fall when opened. - XLT has marginal battery travel range. Around 240 miles (per Ford, From 100% to 0%) in normal good conditions and normal weather. In real life, is lower. If u start at 90% (recommended charge) and recharge at 20% (per rec), then using only 70% of predicted range and add some cold weather that takes a lot of battery to warm and heat.. range will drop to around 140 miles. Meaning plan to charge frequently or daily, depending on ur commute and avoid long distance travel to avoid low range anxiety.. u don't want to have low range and start looking for a working and available charging station, to sit for 30 min or an hour to charge and keep going. I think extended battery should be standard, but that means more costs. - Ford blueoval charging stations are good and present in many areas and dealers, but the problem is that they might be offline, not working, occupied, and hard to predict availability which limits their use. So, having home charger is essential. - Wipers are horrible from factory. Needed immediate change. - Speakers are acceptable but nothing special. - Doors don't unlock by approach and touching the handles. Have to use keypad or key fob. - I opted for the 2K discount instead of the Ford promise home charge with installation offer as I was concerned with the fine print of "Standard installation" requirement and ending up having to pay out of pocket if Qmerit deemed my install as non standard and went with my own installer. I think the Flash edition would cover many of those cons compared to the XLT for around 5K extra.
