2019 Ford Edge review
Until 2017, my wife and I had been driving only 4WD vehicles (Bronco, Explorer, two Expeditions) and then we bought a used but fairly dressed up 2013 Edge SEL AWD (Nav, BLIS, V6) and immediately fell in love with it. No major issues except one brake problem which was totally corrected by the dealer for a teeth jarring $800! But it performed very well (not like a Corvette!) with 280 HP and really tight steering. So, when it came time to sell my second Expedition, I took the old Edge and we bought HER a ‘19 ST with the Performance Blue exterior. This one truly drives like a dream even when it’s not in sport mode! It’s fully loaded except for performance brakes but the brakes in the ST are beefed up anyway so the two Edges really drive differently. We will be 80 soon and this car will see us out! I hope we can avoid a speeding ticket!!!!?

2019 Ford Edge review
We have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD which replaced my wife’s older Explorer which she drive for many years and the Edge has been a real pleasure to drive. I had two successive Expeditions for business which I drove for around half a million miles. So, in late 2022, when we decided to sell the Expy and downsize, we decided to “upgrade” my wife’s Edge and I would keep the 2013. We searched for a good price on a 2019 Titanium and enlisted the help of a sales rep at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC who had found the 2013 model for us. He found a 2019 Edge ST in Performance Blue with reasonable mileage and not even a scratch!! The interior was immaculate and the panoramic moon roof was the clincher. As an “outside sales rep” for 45 years, I have driven two million miles. During that time, we have owned Volvos, a Saab, Chevrolets, a Chrysler Concorde, a Pontiac, and a bunch of Fords. This ST is the best vehicle we have ever owned!!! Zero to 60 in five, great handling, quiet ride, and 29.7 average on the road at interstate speeds!!! I cannot say too much in favor of this car. When we purchased the vehicle it was obvious they went through and did an inspection, and fixed anything that needed fixing. Used cars come in all shapes, sizes, and conditions. And to see everything on the service record that they fixed, was a sign of attention to detail that many other dealerships lack. That was refreshing to see, and moved my confidence level up in this dealership. The sales people in there are great. Financing team is awesome. Over all it was a great experience. Ive dealt with Neil and Jay in there for years. And have bought quite a few vehicles from them. I can not elaborate enough on how easy the car buying experience is with them. Its smooth and painless, as it should be. They answer any questions you have with honesty and integrity. Neil himself is very knowledgeable with cars. So I trust the answers he gives me. And Jay is one of the best finance guys around, and is extremely knowledgeable as well. If you're looking for a good place to pick up a new whip I suggest checking out Jim O'Neil. I know we glad we did, they gained a repeat customer!

I really like this vehicle. The edge has great space and ergonomics. The technology packages make the driving experience enjoyable and safe. One problem with the vehicle is the infotainment system that is unreliable. I have had it replaced once and it is again not working properly.
