2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

To seal the deal, the dealership included an extended warranty while matching the price of a competitor. On the day we picked up the car, my wife noticed the rear window was severely scratched. Caskinette Ford, not only agreed to replace the window but also to send someone to our home to do it. In short, the staff took excellent care of us. Joe, the sales manager, okay-ed the window replacement. Corey Taylor, the sales rep, followed through on everything he told us he would do. Wendy Cornell reached out to us regarding a corroded battery terminal. Yes, a minor glitch, but this demonstrated the dedication and desire of the entire staff to make their customers feel like they matter. A visit to the service department likewise was a positive experience. Jamison was very friendly and took the time to answer our questions. Finally, I would be remiss if didn't mention the helpfulness and attentiveness of Craig Caskinette during my initial contact with the dealership.

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

Over these past four years you have grown to surpass all of the competitors in the Watertown/Fort Drum area (work done, price, arrangements for both car and driver pickup, work time, after services (wash), customer service, open/clean/comfortable waiting area with workspace & snacks, followup, discounts (thank you for the immaculate detail), and advice on future services and upkeep, etc. Multiple duty stations, in the past 26 years, I can say their service department is a cut above the rest.

Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.
