2013 Ford Explorer review
10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

It was a great experience. Timely courteous employees. Maddy was exceptional and so knowledgeable. Would recommend your service department to anyone looking for great service.
2023 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum, and I purchased it 7 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a sun blocker to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

Lasco Ford has been great to me and my family. We have purchased many vehicles. Sales has been very helpful and friendly. Sever goes above and beyond. We have used the pick up and delivery option and the Mobile service option to repair a couple recalls over the last year. Keep up the great work. See you soon for our next vehicle

Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

2020 Ford Explorer review
I recently applied for a car from thrifty auto Sales In Westfield, Massachusetts, I received a call back from Mike. He wasn't a pushy salesman. He just actually was. I still interested in a vehicle which I was I've held off for six months without a car. I took a chance and I AM totally satisfied with the service Mike kept Istrate open and honest and I walked out with a 2021 Toyota Camry. I am very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone. I have troubled credit but they still worked with me. Thank you, Mike.

Lasco Ford, Inc. review
Today, I purchased a vehicle from Lasco Ford, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right car for my needs and budget. My salesperson, Kaelyn Harris, was especially helpful—answering all my questions patiently, offering honest advice, and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The process was smooth and transparent, with no pressure or hidden fees. The dealership had a great selection of vehicles, and the financing team worked hard to get me a great deal. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new Chevy Cruze, and I highly recommend Lasco Ford to anyone looking for a hassle-free and trustworthy car-buying experience. Thank you again to the entire team!

Lasco Ford, Inc. review
I have recently purchased tires and had few other service items performed on my car at Lasco Ford in Fenton. I must say just my experience was wonderful. I worked with David McDaniel and I must say he was excellent right from the get go. He was on point, great communicator, and he got me great deal on my tires. I was impressed with the efficiency and hight quality of service I have received, not to mention a competitive pricing. I feel very that Lasco Ford Service Team exceeds expectations when it comes to customer satisfaction and customer retention. Thank you David for being an excellent service adviser. I will make my appointment for February as we discussed my 30,000 miles maintenance plan for my car. Happy New Year to Lasco Ford Team. Thank you for all you do!

Lasco Ford, Inc. review
I recently bought a used 2025 Ford Expedition Max remotely from Lasco Ford in Michigan while living in New York, and the entire experience was excellent. Scott Cooley made the whole process incredibly easy from start to finish. He was very responsive, answered all of my questions quickly, and made me feel comfortable buying a vehicle from out of state. Scott really went the extra mile to make sure everything was handled correctly, especially with delivery and registration since I was in a different state. That could have easily been a stressful process, but he made it smooth and straightforward. On top of that, Lasco Ford had the best price I could find on the vehicle. The financing process was also simple and hassle-free, with no pressure or attempts to sell me a bunch of extra add-ons I did not want. Overall, this was one of the easiest car-buying experiences I have had, and I would definitely recommend Scott Cooley and Lasco Ford to anyone, especially if you are considering buying from out of state.

Lasco Ford, Inc. review
We were hundreds of.mikes from home and had tire issues. Matt White and all staff we dealt with were amazing. Our vehicle needed an odd size tire and Matt located tires at a local busi ess and was able to have them delivered promptly. We were so impressed we decided to buy four tires due to a buy three and get one free offer and a rebate. We asked for an alignment and the mechanic determined it was not needed. We could have been taken advantage of and were not.

2025 Ford Explorer review
Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

I've leased two Lincoln Corsairs through LaFontaine, and both experiences have been exceptional. From the attentive sales and management staff to the incredible deals I've received and the high-quality vehicles, I've been impressed every time. I couldn't recommend this dealership more!
2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.

Representatives of Shea Buick contacted me several times. I regret not getting back to Shea, because they sold the car I was m interested in. It was the holidays and all, so I was not able to focus.
2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

My sales person, Damon Peele, was awesome to wirk with. It took a couple weeks but he came through with the vehicle I purchased. Great work, Damon!!!

Best car I’ve ever owned. Does everything I want//need it to do. Always starts in the morning. I’ve been camping with it and slept inside the car. Plenty of room

2022 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch, and I purchased it 13 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a collapsable windshield cover to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

I didn’t end up buying a car however Marissa was great. She followed up with me but I ended up getting my car repaired by the warranty. I will head her way when I’m ready for another vehicle.

LaFontaine Ford Birch Run review
My wife and I were needing an oil change while on vacation. Still several thousand miles to go, not wanting to exceed recommendations of our 2025 Explorer, Don, got me in without an appointment. I had a complete inspection, oil change, tire rotation, car wash and I was out in under an hour! So grateful for Don's help! Now, on to relaxing...

Bob Johnson Used-North CountryReviews
2021 Ford Explorer review
The ford explorer is an outstanding suv. The new design in 2020 is stylish and the rear wheel drive/4 wheel drive option is state of the art. The ecoboost engines are economical and extremely powerful. Ford dealers are everywhere! Ford parts are common and easy to obtain! I looked at the competitors. Front wheel drive is not suitable for trucks in my opinion. The handling of a rear wheel drive vehicle is outstanding. I actually have a 2022 platinum with the 3.0 v6 and this 2021 base with the 2.3 4 cylinder. Happy with each!!!

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.
