We've been keeping our eyes out for a later model Honda Pilot and found one at Compton, we called the morning of when we would be arriving and Terry the owner had the Pilot, up front, running, warmed up and waiting for us. Being a Pilot freak ( we previously owned one) Terry was more knowledgeable than we were, he truly knows his way around cars and does not come off as a salesman, more like a neighbor who comes over and fixes your lawnmower because he knows how. Terry's son who helped out with the paper work was also top notch. we took our newly purchased Pilot to our family mechanic the day after purchasing it and it came back with no issues. Even though Sturtevant is 35 miles away, we will be certain to check out Compton for our next used car purchase
2010 Ford Focus review
Bought mine new in 2010 and I’m still reliably driving it in 2024 with almost 240k miles, with most being on the highway. I’ve kept up with the general maintenance as well as being a bit proactive with other things. The overall cost has been negligible, in my opinion, compared to the cost of monthly payments for any newer car. If they still made this car, I’d buy it again. Sadly, it’s too reliable for current business practices of needing customers to upgrade every 5-6 years.

Deery Brothers Iowa City hands down has the best service department that is around, never have i seen so many people go above and beyond to take care of a customer and do it as fast as possible to get you back in your vehicle. I have been to many dealerships in my time and never have I been able to genuinely take my car in and forget that it is in for service, mostly because I know they are going to keep me updated and send pictures and or video showing the issues that I brought it in for even if its a issue that I did not even know was there all because they do a multipoint inspection on every vehicle that they get. Saftey is the biggest thing that someone should want for themselves or there family. I know when I do buissness here at deery thats what Ill get. The service manager alex is beyond one of the nices people I have ever met, but He has a Lane Manager Zeke who will always choose customers over company and will fight tooth and nail to make sure he gives his all and to make sure you leave a happy customer.
2010 Ford Focus review
This generation of Focus is a very good buy. They are a long lasting car, I have done oil changes 15k-20k miles. My car is currently sitting at 298k miles on its original engine and transmission. It has had routine repairs like wheel bearings, a fuel pump, an engine mount and quite a few tires. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable car, you don’t need a Honda, you need this Ford Focus.

2010 Ford Focus review
My 2010 consistently gets 46mpg on the highway, 2.0 with automatic. Bought new, only run Mobile1 full synthetic 5w30. Great little car, should last 300k easy!
