Curtis saved the day! My Dad has dementia. We had just gone out to my Ford Explorer from a weekly lunch with his buddies at a restaurant about 10min away from Northside. My key fob suddenly didn’t work. I called AAA and they would only be able to tow us to a dealership to make a new key fob. I called Northside and they went above-and-beyond offering to come to us with a battery. Curtis quickly arrived, checked out my fob, and installed a new battery. 2010 Ford Transit Connect review
I find this van fun to drive. More nimble than a pickup or most vans. Acceleration is good enough, just OK, hence the performance penalty. Seats a very comfortable for long distance multi-hour drives. Reliablity must be pretty good from the maintenance history, which I have. I haven't had it long enough to fully evaluate that aspect. I love the large interior space for hauling cargo, for such a compact form factor. I also like the exterior styling, which at this date, may seem outdated, but to me, still seems fresh.

bought the extended high roof option, with turbo 3.5 Ecoboost engine. gets remarkably good mileage, handles well for a rolling billboard, but cross winds disturb it. installed rear antisway bar and improved stability. installed crew cab second row seats for family, used it as furniture hauler, scrap metal hauler, firewood hauler. Does everything well without complaints. May turn it into food truck later. Installed inverter and deep cell batteries beneath the floor for 110 volt power but have rarely used it so far.
