2023 GMC Acadia review
I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

2017 Subaru Forester review
The Forester is a great value. It is roomy yet extremely nimble. Our average fuel economy is 30mpg with plenty of power. It has great visibility with no blind spots. The all wheel drive works well. It is great when you have to drive in bad weather. My only complaint is dealership service costs seem high, even for routine services. Independent garages have more reasonable costs. There have been no major repairs needed on our Subaru. We were a Honda family ( 20+ yrs) so changing to the Subaru was a big deal. We were not disappointed.

2021 Honda Accord review
I traded in my 22 Accord with the 1.5T and CVT transmission. My 2021 has the 2.0T and 10 speed automatic. It’s a great car for the money, dollar for dollar, you cannot beat it! Fully Loaded, very strong motor and tranny, rides beautiful, handles everything beautifully!

2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
What a great look. I have bought several cars and trucks over the past few years, from 2 trucks for me and helped the family with other cars. I wanted to get something for looks and the 2025 Grand Cherokee fit the bill. Style and looks, 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Good on the mileage and performance. Great dealership and people at Ray's CDJR in Fox Lake. They treat you like you should be, with respect through the entire process.

2024 Hyundai TUCSON review
There are some things worth noting. Gas mileage is not great. No where near what it says. Controls are hard to navigate and confusing but I love the phone, GPS, ride, Sirius and other safety features.

We found Frank Lincoln of Ed Shults Warren Subaru to be very helpful and easy to deal with. We had several months to go on an existing lease of a Ford Fusion, but decided we really wanted to get into an AWD car before next winter, so we could get used to it before the snow arrives. Frank found a way to accomplish that by working with a separate Ford dealership that is also part of the Shults organization. Next he showed us the way a Subaru Legacy with Eyesight can do things I never imagined a car could do. Then he found us a car that had exactly what we wanted without trying to sell us up to a higher, more expensive trim level. I had done some online shopping, so I knew what the MSRP would be, and I had a good idea of what would be a reasonable and fair discount to expect. Of course we had to negotiate back and forth a little, but settled on a fair price and a good deal for us. We are very, very pleased with our new 2016 Subaru Legacy. Thank you Frank, and thank you to the Shults organization!
2018 Honda Accord review
You have to get the 2.0T and not the 1.5L. They hold way higher values while also being an absolute blast to drive with a large aftermarket community for this vehicle. Mine was totaled in a hailstorm, and after quite a bit of reserch this is the only vehicle I would buy again.

They got us out of a lease we were over on miles and into a better higher mile lease. They try to get into a car and get the sale. I was raised in a small used car lot and , auto repair shop, body shop. I absolutely didn’t like dealing with dealers but Shults of Warren is Different
2019 Subaru Outback review
I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. 2017 Toyota Prius Prime review

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2019 Land Rover Range Rover review
I’ve owned and driven a lot of cars in my life, and not one compares to the luxury and ride comfort of this Landrover Range Rover. From premium sound to non existent road noise, self closing doors and features most only dream of, this vehicle has it all and is equally capable of serious off road use if you so choose. I bought used and put 40k miles on so far and still feels, looks and rides like new. Outstanding vehicle.

2019 GMC Yukon review
We drove two states over to McKenzie Buick GMC in Milton, FL to meet with Nick and make a purchase on our new Yukon Denali. Customer service was top notch. We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. 2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

2024 Toyota Tacoma review
For a non full size pickup it seems pricey, but then again full size truck prices are ridiculous. The interior is really nice, spacious and well built. The truck handles incredibly well, and the 4 cylinder turbo has plenty of power. I was impressed with it's 6,000+ towing power. The exterior is mean looking and looks great heading down the road. I bought a SR model because I need a truck, not something full of options. The only downside is the box is smaller and holds a lot less than a full size and the Toyota sense safety is a bit much. I know it's there for a reason but it can be confusing.

2018 Ford Taurus review
I have the 2013 model SEL. I really don't care for the front wheel drive but overall this car is a workhorse. I have 250,00 on the 2013 and she will get up and go smoothly. Good on gas as well and dependable. Except for the 2013 waterpump issue. Other than that, its dependable and the interior is nice leather, not cheaply made. Im getting another one for sure.

2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
I purchased my 2018 Silverado LT Z71 crew cab, 5.4 litre V8 in April of 2018 as a business vehicle with the express purpose of towing a 5x10 trailer (1000+ lbs.) 20+ weekends per year. The majority of the time, the truck sits in my driveway until I need to pull the trailer. Even with the trailer and truck bed fully loaded down, and using Trailer Mode, the truck performs flawlessly. It had 16 miles on the odometer when I drove it off the dealership lot. Granted, I have driven it for a couple of 300 mile trips to the coast and back, but other than that, it's only used for business. It has never been driven hard. The 4 wheel drive works incredibly well. As of today, 8-25-2026, the odometer has 43,356 actual miles on it. I have lovingly maintained the truck since purchasing it, with regular and routine oil changes, tire rotation and chassis lube when needed. It has been the best vehicle that I have ever owned. I always get the same reaction from the CSR's at the dealership where I purchased it when I bring it in - "You don't drive this truck much do you?" - Always makes me smile. My daily driver is a 2016 GMC Canyon V6, which has been shown the same amount of love and care. The only issue it has ever given me, is a programming issue with the touchscreen, but a factory reset fixed that issue.

2024 Jeep Wrangler review
2004 jeep wrangler sport s 2 door. So far it is wonderful. Bought it just as a fun beach jeep but it has turned into our daily driver. Only problem is my wife wants to drive it all the time. She has claimed it as HER car. Guess I will need to just buy MY jeep.

2021 RAM 2500 review
I bought this truck from Herritage DJC in Brigham City a year ago and it is without a doubt the best truck I have ever owned. I have not owned a domestic car since 1986. I've owned mostly Mercedes and Jaguars for the past 35 years. The Continental compares very favorably to the Jaguar XJ-L and Mercedes Benz E-Class. I needed a 4-door sedan that could be serviced near my home which left mostly domestic (GM / Ford / Chrysler) brands to choose from. I relocated to an area about 85 miles outside a major metropolitan area and didn't enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to and from my servicing dealers (Mercedes and Jaguar) after a decade of doing so. I'm not a fan of Chrysler styling so I test drove a Cadillac and the Lincoln Continental. After comparing both cars, In 2022 we chose a 2018 Lincoln Certified PreOwned Continental Reserve AWD with the 2.7 twin-turbo under 20K miles. This car was a special-order with most every available option offered. The build quality is on par with Cadillac, Jaguar and other makes that I've owned. Comparing the Infotainment/technology to both Mercedes and Jaguar, the Lincoln tech is so much easier to set up, navigate and use. Engine response and performance is excellent! Interior leather and trim is top-notch with the 72-thousand position front seats, revel sound system, back seat package, technology package and other features. I absolutely love the exterior styling of the car...it looks expensive and feels expensive. The original msrp of my car was just under $70,000 when new...so perhaps it simply was expensive!
